I got a question for the next episode: Well considering Leon’s Adamant hatred for Heavy Rain, I would like to know his opinion on Asura’s Wrath, given how it, like Heavy Rain, focused more on the cinematic experience then the gameplay.

Also the Podcast should be called the Blistered Thumbi podcast cause of Austins love of pluralizing words with i’s.

No sooner than Leon rails into a Quantic Dream game, than Austin says he hides pieces of paper in birdcages. You guys are on the same wavelength.

“I wanted Heavy Rain to die in a car-fire basically. It’s an insult to the very idea of gaming. It is a scam, it is a con”

I think we’re going to be good friends Leone.

I’m glad that Nintendo is embracing 3rd party titles, but I don’t yet trust that they will be completely faithful: a lot of multi-platform games that were released on the Wii (or at least some that I played) were changed to cope with the motion controls, with most of the changes being bad. I also feel like the WiiU isn’t a big step forward from the Wii (it seems more like the Wii 1.5 to me), but I guess what Leon said about it is pretty true to what they’ve been doing lately (2 steps to the side, 1 step forward). That said, I am still looking forward to what they will do with the WiiU.

I’m really enjoying this podcast, keep it up guys!

God dammit Austin, that Reggie corner insert may be the best thing in titlecards ever.

I do hope you don’t like me, because then i would have to change my username to “friend” or something, and that would just be weird.

Hello cast of the serious Joe’s

Nothing to add here just here to say, I love this podcast.

I missed EA, (and googleing did not answer me) did they say or showed anything about C&C generals 2?

Oh and PS3 + Vita makes a “PSU”? WTF?????

And am I the only one who is mildly interested in the new tomb raider game?

By the way question for next podcast what are your thoughts on generals 2?

They showed absolutely nothing about anything. Well, their sports lines and Medal of honor/ Battlefield, but that’s about it. Maybe they showed something on C&CG2 but it was just so boring.

The feature between PS3+ Vita has been around for a while (same with MS and the “smartglass”). They are just trying to push that harder now the Wii U is around. They tout it as “Hey, we got second screens too. You don’t have to buy anything extra (Just have Windows 8 phones and tablets/ Vita. You got those right?). Nevermind the fact that the Wii U will in all likelihood be cheaper, and appears meant to be the cheap alternative to what iPad an our tablets/ Vita offer.”

No, my girlfriend has girlwood at the prospect of a new Tomb Raider game.

No, nothing to speak of by way of C&C Generals 2 during the EA conference. It’s still pretty deep in the shadows.

Personally, I waited for Arkham City to be released on Wii U since the game was practically announced alongside the nearing of the PS3/ 360 release. Just made sense to wait a year to get the version with all the DLC included plus the tablet functions.

P-100 does look like an excellent game along with Tank! Tank! Tank!.

Umm… Maybe Raiden is getting revengeance on the green economy… maybe? He fight fights business professors profiting off Darfur.

I believe that things like Heavy Rain have a place in games, they just shouldn’t charge $60 for something like this. It’s a nice idea, but they shouldn’t make something that really is so not dynamic the price something that I could really can find something less… a cutscene I can control. And not those awesome kind of cutscenes where you wonder why can’t you do that. But the ones where… I’m basically playing Shenmue without the setting and actual effort.

Watch Dogs better be on Wii U. That tablet screams smartphone interface.

Except for all those people died in that car crash he orchestrates. But sometimes villains are interesting. Like Light Yagami, which I used as my Steam handle.

In Grand Theft Auto, I just prefer to put in the code to have the car fly, and put on Fog Hat and just have a day. If I could find a Delorean, I would be in heaven.

    Sony killed Vita that day.

Well, while Dead Space 3 became an action game, at least Resident Evil 6 SEEMS to be attempting to backpedal into horror again… I hope.

I’m not sure how Ubisoft is going to get away with tits on American cable. You’d think they would have been forewarned.
