Oh man, I lost it during zombie mode when Ashens had only one leg to stand on, and was still playing, and you were cracking up. The sheer absurdity of that situation was just too much.
See also: the first successful grapple, when William Wallace cut off his opponent’s legs and head, and Ashens said “Oh, come on!”

… Oooooh it’s “Kusogê” as in “kuso gêmu”. That title kinda confused me for a minute because… “shit hair”?
This is why it sucks when people use certain ambiguous transcriptions of Japanese. The language has a distinction between short e and long e, you gotta signify it somehow… The problem is that Hepburn, which is the most popular in English speaking countries, transcribes is as “e” vs. “ē” and nobody usually uses the letter “ē”. I had to go copy it from a Wikipedia article and I use more special letters than the average internet user, being a language nerd.
This is why I prefer waapuro because it’s so easy to write on any normal keyboard. Besides, it’s closer to the kana system.
Okayokayokay, I’ll shut up about that now. Anyway. I believe you that the game is shit but it was fun to watch with your commentary. x)

You can have a zombie slice mode and the game doesn’t feature a single chainsaw from the looks of it? Criminal oversight. I know the game is supposed to focus on pre-industrial weapons, but once you have a zombie slice mode I don’t think preserving historical integrity is still a concern.
Why does Joan of Arc have high heels? No seriously, why the hell would she be wearing armored high heels?
I wondering same thing. Not only they gave her high heels but they also gave her female armor in this game. I mean didn’t she try to disguise herself as man since women in battlefield was unheard of back then and she even got burned as witch when english captured her.
Mostly I think she dressed in men’s armour because female armour wasn’t invented yet…

I would say yes, It is worth buying for the comedy value alone, especially if you’ve got some friends over.
I’d say wait till MS have a XBLA sale on though, Ashens picked this game up for 400 points previously. So I got screwed when they upped it to 800
This is a weird series of games. It kind of reminds me of cheesy campy horror movies.
Usually bad video games don’t make for much fun especial these days. Some how this game makes for some entertaining fun times with a friend or 2. The Video Games Awesome guys did a hilarious fun lets play with this game. This is a good one day rental for some silly laughs.

How do you rent an XBLA game?
I don’t know how, but somehow you guys’ interacting while playing this game really helps in getting us to laugh with you when the game takes a turn for the hilariously bad. Looking forward to the next episode.

Fun facts about William Wallace:
William Wallace is here depicted the way he looked in Braveheart, however, the kilt was not associated with the highlands until the very end of the 16th century, and the two-handed sword was only associated with royalty and the highest of nobility during his lifetime. Woad was abandoned during the dark ages. Infact, William Wallace would historically appear more as your average high medieval knight on horseback.
