The whole episode had me in tears.
This vid was real funny, but I was hoping to see Kazooie somewhere in there, I recently went through a nostalgic week playing Banjo-Kazooie, Tooie, and Grunty’s revenge. Through all the games she’s a complete bitch to everyone she talks to. Guess its not enough to make the list just talking mean.
How can you have a Top Ten Jerk list and no Tom Nook! That bastard makes you indebted to him for life, he practically owns your soul!!
I almost forgot about him, he forces you to work for him at the begging. Also if you’ve paid off the debt with one character and make another complete the part time job on the same day, Tom Nook doesn’t pay you!
But he’s nice about it!
And he won’t break your legs at least for a few years!

I thought the Mayor from Harvest Moon Ds was a jerk right from his first appearance. He keeps insulting you, says your farm sucks etc. And then your character attacks him with their farm tools.
Resetti from Animal crossing also annoyed the hell out of me…
That was an odd place to end the video. :p I didn’t think it was done and it was just a commercial break, then the ad ended.
Well, definitely kept me interested. I’ve been tempted for a while to do a video about how Natalya from Goldeneye is a jerk.
Hey, you know this raticate you just kicked at the end of the video? Gary never uses him again. And next time you meet Gary, he is in a graveyard tower. The raticate /died/ in the original script.

I like how in Mass Effect, Renegade and Paragon doesn’t simply means ”Evil or Pure” like most alignments system of the genre, but pretty much being ”a nice guy” or ”a Douchebag”. Whatever you choose, you’re always a good guy in Mass Effect, it’s more your attitude than your choices that modifies the plot.
One of the few things that annoys me about the ME games, is that you can’t really get the full experience unless you go all paragon or all renegade. Personally, I like more of a grey area character. Some “bad” choices I can rationalize because they’re necessary. But if you want everyone loyal you have to have either really high paragon or renegade. So not too much room too switch around.
that I agree, Dragon Age did it better because your ”alignment” was exclusive to each companions. However, it made yours have less personnality, because you had to do the right choices so they agree with you.
so… The Witcher did it better ? Choices matters but there’s no alignment bar…
Meh, I’ve yet to see any Western game do any better than the SMT games.
I say that’s the best example for right now. Bioware! Take note.

Awesome list PBG. Gary frustrated me to no end when I played red and blue. Even after you completely DESTROYED him in battle he has the nerve to insult you more and say “Smell ya later”.
Well, at least he’s better in the Pokemon Manga. There, he’s basically Piccolo.
There’s actually quite a bit of contention between some Pokemon fans as to whether Ash and Red are the same person which would subsequently shift that debate over to Gary and Blue.

Yeah, I think we both realized exactly how douchey Pac-Man was after playing that game. Look at the way he yells at Pac-Puppy. And Pac-Puppy just wanted to be loved. >=[
