Welcome back to the discussion show where we introduce the debate and you continue it. This week’s topic: Shaun and Johnny Maloney discuss the past & future of Star Wars video games.
I like the concept of the Vita. It just doesn’t have a single game I REALLY want sofar, but that’s Sony’s general problem I believe. Nintendo can just squirt out a new Mario game, but Sony doesn’t have a franchise of that level I think. And yes, I know Uncharted and God of War and all that, but it still doesn’t have the same pull on the general public tbh.
Have you played Disgaea? Doesn’t get anymore hardcore than that)

lol I forgot this thing was even around and it’s only been out for a like what a month? I had a PSP and I enjoyed a few games on it but eventually it just ended up sitting in a cabinet for a few years before I hacked it. Now it once again sits in my cabinet lol. I’m still good with my regular DS. That’s got such a big library as it is that I doubt I’ll run out of games anytime soon. 3DS just gives me a cringe inducing headache after 5-10 minutes so I doubt I’ll ever bother purchasing it since the gimmick is pointless for me.
I can’t tell what’s more pathetic, the 3DS or the PS Vita.
Why can’t I just keep playing my old regular not 3D DS, I like that better. Are they even trying anymore?
I often show no interest in the PSVita, but then I see a screenshot for Persona 4: The Golden…
Its no wonder sont is circling the drain these days, the PsP was never the most popular handheld and working in retail i saw most that were sold come back broken.
Sony charges double what the console costs to build then wonders why no ones buying it, pretty obvious why they lost 6 billion last year.

Ben’s commercial does more to make me want a Vita than anything Sony’s done. Course, I’d still rather spend $300+ on a candy bar than on a Vita.
They should have just called it PSP2, it’s pretty much the same thing only with better graphics and a reverse touch screen. They’re also marketing it in the same way… which is to say not at all. Maybe they need a new slogan, like All I want for Xmas is a PSV!

I have an adblocker, it just doesn’t work on ads before videos for whatever reason. Besides, I want Channel Awesome guys to get paid.
Your adblock dosent work on videos because youre using chrome I presume, on firefox it blocks out video ads too
Excluding intro and ending, only 28 seconds. Even with those few extra seconds, it doesn’t justify a half minute commercial
No, I’m not mad at all, because when you think “hardcore” you think Xbox fanboys! I’m more mad at that horrible misuse of “Hurt” in that Prototype 2 commercial. Gears did a better job with “Mad World.”
You should see the longer version on YouTube. You would NOT believe how much better it’s done, with the build-up and everything. It, unlike the shortened version, actually makes good use of the song, not to mention making me genuinely interested in the game.
The lesson here: Just because you CAN shorten something, doesn’t mean you should.
Don’t knock the back touchscreen, it’ll pave the way for the inclusion of bra unhooking minigames.
But only in Japan.
