GYCW – Rock Star Ate My Hamster, 
Rather interesting story to this video, as some of my old skool fans may know, this episode was originally made whilst I was with ScrewAttack in 2007 (hence all the frickin’ cringeworthy ScrewAttack-isms in the video style >.>), but about that time I had just been offered a job at Xleague and they were desperate for episodes of the Retro Corner in time for their late May launch (I’d been offered the job early May) so didn’t have enough time to make enough episodes, so I simply converted this episode of GYCW into a Retro Corner episode for them (note what I called the Retro Corner in the video, as the name hadn’t been decided at the time ^_^). Wez and Xleague hated the ScrewAttack-isms (such as the guy smashing the Guitar Hero guitar) so edited them out of the final video, so this is in fact the first time this edit of the video has ever been shown in public.
But after a major spring clean of my house, I found the original master copy of this episode (my only other copy was far too poor quality to upload again) cleaned it up a bit and upscaled it to 720p!
Anyhoo, you can tell it’s quite early, I’m far slower and my voice isn’t as confident/expressive as it is in later videos. Also my style has changed, I’m now putting information on the game itself ahead of making stupid jokes now (SA at work again) But it’s a good indication on how far I’ve come in five years.
Also a lot of my newer fans may never have seen this episode before. It’s never aired on the Showcase/Information TV version of the Retro Corner series (mainly because of all the Xleague references and the fact I lost it) But enough blathering on… Enjoy!!!
Oh, If anyone is puzzled on the bizarre title of the game, it’s a reference to possibly one of the most famous British tabloid headlines of all time…

The name was taken from The Sun newspaper story headline “Freddie Starr ate my hamster”. The story claimed that the British comedian Freddie Starr ate someone’s hamster in a sandwich when they refused to make him one. Im supprised Guru Larry didnt mention this in his review of the game.
Dude, I linked to the wikipedia article in the video description, but this was an old video when I was at ScrewAttack and had that “comedy over information” nonsense. Couldn’t you see the change of style?
Thats actually very funny name for game. It dosen’t really tell you that game is rock start manager game.
about 10 years ago a game called Rock manager was released. It was a Rockstar ate my hamster clone. Found this on mobygames.
