Mardi Gras shenanigans, Alan Hazelden and Terry Cavanagh teaming up, and a new Ben304 game are just some of what awaits you in this week’s edition of your best source (that’s our story and we’re sticking to it) for free gaming on the net.
We start things off with a game that casts players in the role of dog looking for food in a Russian subway while trying to deal with rival canines by killing them with exploding vodka bottles. I know its not a very original premise (I mean how many games about dogs in Russian subways have we featured in this column? Dozens at least) but try and put up with it anyways.
What happens when Alan Hazelden (These Robotic Hearts of Mine, Shit Snake) and Terry Cavanagh (VVVVVV, At A Distance) team up? Something dementedly wonderful of course. Just remember, Friendship is Magic…
Oops. I said the words ‘friendship’ and ‘magic’. And as everyone knows, that particular combination of words can only mean the summoning of one thing: PONIES!
Now here is a shooter with a twist: you only have 10 bullets (duh) to set off the largest chain reactions of enemy deaths possible. This one can get addictive fast, especially for those among you who love gratuitous explosions.
We are almost to the end here folks. Only one more chapter (at least so far) of Reemus to go after this one, but before then, you will still need to help Reemus and Liam survive not just a couple Death Slugs or a solitary Gygax but instead an whole army of both creatures united under the banner of… The Visitor from the Sky!
