The demo was fun and it "felt" like The Darkness, and that's really all I want from it :) By the way, you forgot to mention the best feature of the game: there is a PC version. Despite being a huge fan of the comic I never had a chance to play the first game because it was console exclusive. This one however is not, and the PC controls are pretty damn good. I’ve only played the demo so far but I’m looking forward to playing the full game next week. The demo was fun and it “felt” like The Darkness, and that’s really all I want from it :)

Bennett makes me wonder if it'll be worth a rental, but I feel like it will further disappoint me because of what I had hoped for the sequel to be. I uh didn't know the first darkness game gained so much praise when the only time I've ever heard of anyone talking about it was when yahtzee reviewed it's demo all those years ago and the bewildering intro that the unskippable crew riffed. This looks like what the first game looked like, OK. Probably makes for a decent lets play though. Wow I.
