So far, we’ve taken a look at some really great PSP games that we’ve had the opportunity to play. We’ve written about RPGs that take us on epic adventures, rhythm games that make us bob our head, and action games that get our adrenaline pumping. Today, we wanted to do something a little different. As many of you know, there are an enormous amount of games than never make it outside of Japan. While we can always import them, it’ll never quite be the same. Today, we want to take a moment of silence to remember those games we’ll never see in English…

…Valkyria Chronicles III…

…Suikoden PSP Titles…

…The Countless Cutesy Date Sims…

…What Games Are on Your Mind?…

You can find more articles in our series 25-in-25 series over here, and stayed tuned tomorrow for another look at a great PSP title!

Oh yeah, I forgot to add Nendoroid Generation.
The torture of not being able to play that game when it comes out at the end of this month is making me curse Japan for holding out on me, particularly Namco. Good grief, how small is the Tales of fandom in the West to deny us the privilege of playing the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia and many others?

It was the sequel to a grand RPG with tons of charm and strategy. No it’s not Valkyria Chronicles. To be honest, I’m waiting to see if its name coes up in an article its own.

Okay so mine is just a personal view point. Two really, which would be Megaman Legends and technically Breath of Fire III [which was released in the UK and yes I did grab a copy.]

Both capcom games which I really don’t understand why they didn’t fully release BOF [yet released it onto the PSN...I think.] and no Megaman Legends. Gee…I’m not even gonna add a event that happened a while back and if anything would have changed about it if they released it and the game sold well.

It’s Capcom, they don’t release games anymore unless they contain Street Fighter characters.

Objection because they did in Japan and in the UK. Also I think SONY is to blame for BOF3 since they have this “all games must be 3D” policy that’s floating about.

AND while on this Policy. They have a “games must be diffrent” policy. This is why Kingdom hearts remixes dont get release. YET Sport Game year here gets released every year and second. ANd Dyntasy Warriors repacks.

Damn you Sony and capcom…but thanks for BOF3.

For every Tales of game and crossover that didn’t make it and remakes from ps2 classics that didn’t get a dub either, For Monster hunter the third that wont get over the language barrier, for another fallen KH final mix with extras only the east can glare at, and finally FF type 0…cant believe we get the incomplete FNC games but we can get the crappy ones

Type-0 is getting a US release, the question is on what platform, in what capacity, and when it is going to happen.

As far as I can find, none of those details have been confirmed, though there’s a lot of speculation that it’s being moved over to the Vita, which is a pretty big gamble to say the least.

VC3 is a sore spot for me. but there is another one i really expected to show up here that did not. Final Fantasy Type Zero

Now i know there is a slim chance it will happen, but unless im missing something if they were gonna release it, it would be before the Vita dropped… now its out more or less, and i have not heard anything. its a shame. that game looked awesome, or at least more enjoyable than 13

By all accounts a western version of the games is in the works and I also would not be surprised to see a port to Vita, with some international style enhancements, announced either. So one or the other I remain confident that we will see this game in some for or another on our shores.

Sakura Wars 1 and 2 for PSP (shakes fist and curses at the so called fans who begged for the series’ localization but when the time came didn’t buy Sakura Wars 5 when it came out…yeah I’m still mad)

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Colors

Any of the Neon Genesis Evangelion games.

Any Tales PSP port and the Tales of the World games

I’ll still keep my hopes alive for Valkyria Chronicles 3 and Growlanser 1 (keeping my fingers crossed 4 Reloaded will sell enough)

The one game that would actually get me to buy a PSP or a PSV in case the Western version does ship…Black Rock Shooter: the game. It’d better ship at least.

Other PSP games I’d like to play but sadly won’t see:
    -Saki: the Game.
    -Queen’s Blade Tactics
    -Ikkitousen: Xross Impact
    -Madoka Magica: The RPG.

Other than these, the ones you mentioned are good enough.

It is but apparently on PSN only. Which in all fairness is kinda crap for us who only own a 1GB memory stick. Considering the vita is coming out I don’t see why to upgrade to a larger one.

Anything by Banpresto, except for Super Robot Wars Original Generation 1 and 2, and Endless Frontier (but EXCEED is Japan-only, whyyyy).

Although I didn’t lose my hopes for Valkyria Chronicles 3 yet.
