Cute, cel-shaded, and way more amazing than you’d expect it to be, Chaos looks into Eden Eternal, a fantasy MMORPG with easy gameplay, classes you can switch at any time and all around ingenious ideas. (This is a backlog episode completed in October of 2011. Eden Eternal has undergone recent expansions and some information may no longer apply to the current game. New MMO Grinder episodes are posted roughly every two weeks. Fun Fact: This is the episode that was originally posted to TGWTG as my trial video.)

Coupling isn’t pointless any more. If you’re on the same map as the person you’re coupled with, you get a nice, hefty 10% XP bonus, even if they’re on the other side of the entire area, afk, and not even in your party. Coupling with a good friend that’s approximately your level is a good idea, as nothing negative can really come from it. And a free 10% bonus XP is nothing to sneeze at, either.

I already commented on the old TGWTG post, so I won’t repeat myself. I’ll just say that the game can be fun if you have regular friends to play with, but it gets really grindy after awhile. I’ll also post a link to the TGWTG post…

I lol’d at the 草泥马／操你妈 reference. If I recall correctly, there was a Chinese pop star who put out a song with that title which didn’t sit very well with the CCP.
