Supermassive Games and the BBC’s Doctor Who title is rapidly approaching its launch window of “next month,” so it’s about time we got more than teasers and Dalek confirmation. Today we see a bit more gameplay, which is meant to show off the Unreal Engine 3.
While there were certainly a few scenes in there that looked pretty slick for a downloadable title, I was much more impressed with the co-op action than the engine implementation. Hopefully there will be some collaborative puzzle solving à la Trine 2. Also, if anyone was worried about Eternity Clock‘s voice acting than you can rest easy, as Matt Smith and Alex Kingston are clearly in evidence. Is it finally time for the first great Doctor Who game? We’ll know soon enough.
Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be arriving for PS3 and PS Vita download sometime next month, with a PC release shortly afterward.

Why couldn’t it have been 9? Of course I didn’t like Rose that much so it’s a mixed blessing perhaps.
Sounds like it could be really good, especially since we’re facing off against more than just the Daleks (enemy team up perhaps?). Hope this game turns out well enough that maybe we can finally have a crossover adventure with some of the classic Doctors and the new ones…in game form.
