Hideo Kojima is not the person to trust on gaming hardware. He was planning to make a MGS game on N-Gage of all things. Plus, he also hyped up the 3DS. I think that people are just taking his “Oh, this could be interesting,” as “OMG, THIS B TEH HAXXORZ!!11!!”
I’m going to wait on the Vita. I tried out the Vita myself and it is a great system, but Sony’s business decisions surrounding the Vita are what has prevented me from getting it.
Any business decisions in particular that made you weary?
Well, the first and foremost is the proprietary memory cards. There have been long rants about it so I won’t go into it here, but needless to say I don’t like it. Also the lack of a UMD passport program here for NA, the whole 3G debacle, and finally the cost of everything. I don’t have $250 just lying around and I wait for prices to go down. For example, after my birthday on Thanksgiving, I traded in my old DS Lite and I bought the Zelda limited edition 3DS with OoT3D and a memory card all for $130, and I still had money on hand for a couple extra games for it. I may get it over the holidays, but I would rather wait and see.
Yea for the passport deal it just wouldn’t have worked in the NA region what most people don’t realize is japan has a very anti used game deal hell there isn’t even a market over there for it while in NA region you would have people renting game to abuse it or buying it new and register it and then return it and get it for cheaper using the passport fee thus saving like 20 dollars so you can see why Sony would be not to keen on doing it here.
I love my Vita so far. I don’t feel like I need to tell people to run out and get it, however, and your mileage would pro’lly be much higher if you didn’t already own a PSP with a bunch of UMDs, like myself. Really great system, and I am surprised just how much I’m able to fit on my tiny 4gb card.

Ofcourse its better than MW3 because MW3 is the exact game like MW2 which is the exact same game as MW…nuff said.
I know, if I had a PC that could run BF3 worth a darn, I would so get it. Sadly my PC is poo poo.

but tbh – that sucks. You are editing and hosting casts with the pc so it should be ok for battlefield or am I wrong on that part?
I´m running it on a 9600gs(764mb) and a 2.33quad with 3gb ram – if you lower the settings and resolution it should work.
And if your pc is poo poo – get him some charmin fresh wipe!
