Sage Reviews: Ninja Gaiden 3
Stripped down, dumbed down, thumbs down.

We’ve talked about Ninja Gaiden 3‘s multiplayer and story a lot recently, but the actual gameplay of the title has gone strangely under the radar. Well, that ends today.
Combat is pretty much exactly the same as it looked at last year’s E3, which means fun, but with no decapitations. These fight scenes were also conspicuously lacking in demons, but the ridiculous boss that closes out the video makes up for it. The battleship set piece does more to convince me that Team Ninja wants to go in a more “epic” direction, but I know a lot of these changes aren’t going to go over well with fans. On the bright side, Ryu can now summon fiery dragons ‘o death, so there’s that.
Ninja Gaiden 3 will be on store shelves on March 20th, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3. A Wii U version is planned to release later.
Stripped down, dumbed down, thumbs down.
Ninja Gaiden slices into stores (well most stores at least) next week but before it does so, Tecmo Koei has released one final trailer showing off what players can expect from the game.
Its more bad news for the UK based retailer GAME, as two major upcoming releases will not be available for sale through the beleaguered chain.
Stop the presses!
Press O to die with honor.
Has the release date for a console been accidentally revealed? I doubt it but lets speculate anyway!
It’s another game in a lineup of titles that include – but don’t require – the Move; Killzone 3 and No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise being two other prime examples.
I’ve collected the whole day’s bounty of cinematic teasers here for your perusal.

One of the coolest bars in gaming also happens to be one of the most interesting.
does any one feel slightly bothered by the shaky camera. it seems it shakes a little too much? i’ll be honest i never really liked the modern form Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 . i played the ones on the NES and the Genesis and i loved them. this one got me excited a little. hope it doesn’t disappoint.
peace
Only one weapon-type makes me sad.
Where’s the Kusari-gama? Where’s the Lunar staff? Where’s the Vigoorian Flail for crying out loud…
Didn’t Ninja Gaiden 3 already come out back in like 1990 for the NES?
i suppose if ya want to get technical ya. Think of it as I,II, and III NES trilogy and and Ps3 Xbox trilogy
