That was simply fantastic. :) The one thing this review is missing is the “Next Episode Preview” that kicks in after the credits.

That was so manly, it put hair on parts that usually lack hair growth.

hey Justin. love your work. specially the rare and unknown game reviews. i have a game that i doubt you don’t know and i would like you to do a review on. its relatively unknown for some reason even though its really really good. its called shadow hearts and it spawned 2 sequels on the PS2. it was made by the ppl who made Koduelka another unknown game on the ps1 which was also great too. please make it happen. and if you don’t have a copy of the game, ill gladly send you mine.

    peace

Really digging the costume and the expressive acting that goes along with it. More cheese is always good.

Great Show, J-Dub! really liked the Anime/Tokusatsu style you added to this one, especially with the eyecatch and the commercial break. XD

but you forgot to mention that Segata Sanshiro is a parody of Sugata Sanshiro, the protagonist from the 1943 movie with the same name, which was also the first movie directed by Akira Kurosawa.

Great start to the new series, Justin. I look forward to future FamiKamen Rider episodes. Any chance of doing a crossover with another Tokusatsu fan like TJ Omega or EZ Rider?

Very good and enjoyable video. :) The only (minor) issue I’ve got is that you could have mentioned that Segata actually saved the Saturn from being completely driven out of the market by the PlayStation.

Sadly, I still haven’t got this game in my Saturn collection. I hope, however, this will change this year.

Sigh, why can’t Sega make consoles again?

Well.. for one they were doing quite alright, however after the sega cd came in.. it started to slide downhill.. With the sales going down for the saturn and 32x systems.. and well, Dreamcast got a million sets.. however didn’t last too long due to the playstation taking over.. Sega thus called it quits and left.

No offense, but that does not answer my question. ;) It’s more why they do not dare to make a console again.

As far as I see it, things did not go down when the Sega CD came, rather some time later, in 1994, when Kalinske was fired, the 32X came and Sega did not have a direct competitor for Donkey Kong Country, and after all that, the way they loused the Saturn up in North America and Europe.
