Wait! You can assign NPCs to certain things… DAMMIT.

I play this game and haven’t in a while because I was getting so pissed off at the NPCs for not doing the right things. i found out that if I quickly grabbed the puzzle I wanted, then closed that puzzles window, the hard puzzles would get taken by NPCS and then I could jump on the one I wanted to help with.

I hate the Barricade Puzzle so I avoid it at all cost. But the Battle puzzle is really easy to deal with once you have you screwdriver set to one shot them c:

I personally like the lock and chat puzzles so i always get charging devices for them and then use the screwdriver to zap the puzzles I hate.

I haven’t gotten a shard that needed more than 50 chrotons though yet… and I even have managed to buy a pretty swank outfits with little to no chrotons spent besides all the shards I got.

The music is pretty sad, but really I actually liked the music for the clockworks battle level.

In the end I have to really agree.

That Doctor Who opening was disturbing. The picture looked like you were The Master pretending to be The Doctor.

So effectively they remade Puzzle Pirates with a Doctor Who skin. I think I’ll pass on this one as PP seems a good bit more fun at least until this game gets more polish

Thank you for showing me how to beat that one level. I’ve tried it about 20 time, but now I know the trick. Because of that level I gave up for a few weeks. I find the game doesn’t give me enough info to fully play. Now I’m ready to start playing again. Love the show.

I don’t get it.. Doctor Who has the BEST set up for an MMO, I mean he has a time machine, which is also a spaceship,
Why make a crappy flash based puzzle game with the license? It’s just weak, and unimaginative.

It would make such an epic adventure MMO, where you would not rely on weapons, but your wits to clear the dungeons/instances, where you could meet up with the doctor from any timeline, and outsmart Daleks, Cybermen whatever. You could have The Master appear, and make up new timelords somehow, both good and evil.

Every player could be the doctors sidekick, just from different times, planets, galaxies.
The opportunities are limitless, granted you wouldn’t be able to shit the game out in two weeks, it would take massive imagination and out-of-the-box thinking to make it good, or even playable.

There’s so much potential, and this is what they do with it… EXTERMINATE!!

So this game is Doctor Who by way of PopCap? How thrilling (sarcasm)

I didn’t have much hopes for this game, and the video confirms my doubt. I’ll be passing on this.
