On several game of the year list, the Binding of Isaac is a cool looking dungeon style shooter. Is this game worthy of your Five Minutes to Burn?

Game Heroes. If you really are Game Heroes, please don’t go to E3 to attend or covering it. The ESA, who runs the show, is one of the supporters of the SOPA/PIPA bill and the biggest supporter in the game industry of those bills. I don’t know if you have heard about it or if you have and are just think about if guys should go to E3 or not. But if you haven’t, I hope you guys will do the right thing and not go to E3. If you haven’t seen the video explaining it, here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHOZcHkvkvs

Mostly anyone who puts the term “True” in front of another thing (like “Gamers”)- and manages to do so without a hint of irony in their voice- I tend to rest assured pretty much missed the boat on whatever the second word was.

I’ve put in many countless hours, playing and winning many games that would put folks who pretentiously toss around the term “true gamer” as if it were the home team quarterback’s name-drop at a high school prom in therapy… for decades.

I’m not grateful that there are games that are still as hard as those, I’m relieved that an era of gaming that mostly existed in the form that it did to feed the rental market for the most part ended. In short, I’m rather enjoying my “retirement”, and actually enjoying the games I do play.

And while what other people play normally (and by extension, why they play those things) wouldn’t bother me a lick, I never cease to find this sort of self-appointed “celebrity” repugnant.

The game looks interesting, your framing of it however is pretty ugly. It deserves better.

Five minutes to burn, my ass. Just getting through Depths 2 takes 20-30 minutes.

That said, this game is freaking glorious.

I’m not sure I understand why this game is considered hard, really. I’d call it more easy to play, hard to master. All it takes is luck to win one in a while, but to truly be able to win even with the cruddy powerups is pretty difficult.
