Mostly anyone who puts the term “True” in front of another thing (like “Gamers”)- and manages to do so without a hint of irony in their voice- I tend to rest assured pretty much missed the boat on whatever the second word was.

I’ve put in many countless hours, playing and winning many games that would put folks who pretentiously toss around the term “true gamer” as if it were the home team quarterback’s name-drop at a high school prom in therapy… for decades.

I’m not grateful that there are games that are still as hard as those, I’m relieved that an era of gaming that mostly existed in the form that it did to feed the rental market for the most part ended. In short, I’m rather enjoying my “retirement”, and actually enjoying the games I do play.

And while what other people play normally (and by extension, why they play those things) wouldn’t bother me a lick, I never cease to find this sort of self-appointed “celebrity” repugnant.

The game looks interesting, your framing of it however is pretty ugly. It deserves better.
