Set 300 years after the events in Knights of the Old Republic (and featuring some familiar faces), Star Wars: The Old Republic will put players on either side of a massive war between the Republic and the Empire. In Star Wars: The Old Republic, players will explore an age thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy. Players can choose to play as Jedi, Sith, or a variety of other classic Star Wars roles, defining their personal story and determining their path down the light or dark side of the Force. Along the way, players will befriend courageous companions who will fight at their side or possibly betray them, based on the players` actions. Players can also choose to team up with friends to battle enemies and overcome incredible challenges.
With the Star Wars: The Old Republic beta now in it’s death throes, we’ve had a chance to put together some more footage of our random PvP adventures. If your curious to see more of PvP in SWTOR, please do click on. If you’re looking for a comprehensive look at PvP mechanics, you’ll have to wait just a little longer for the full review… but until then, lets have a look at Huttball and The Voidstar!
First up, HUTTBALL!! Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, ARE YOU READY FOR SOME HUTTBALL?! Well, hopefully only a little… because we had a bit of an issue with the recording in the match, however more footage is coming in the full review. However the basics are pretty easy to see, and to compensate, I’ve kept the few minutes of our pre-PvP discussions in with the footage… however stay with us afterwards for a full play through of a Voidstar Warzone match! Oh… and remember what I said about hot click-spamming skills? Yah, it’s back! To jump directly into Huttball, skip to the 7:00 min mark.
Riveting! But, with Huttball the sport of champions, and my personal favorite, the only other Warzone to be available at launch is the “Voidstar”… I could bore you with the details here, but instead we’ll bore you with the details in the video! Haha!
Angry Joe shares his SWTOR Beta Gameplay impressions as he creates his Sith Lord, engages in combat as a warrior and partakes in joyful prisoner torture!
An eccentric millionaire bent on world domination, or at least trying to find happiness and ponder the existentialism-… oh who are we kidding he's just an evil eccentric who wants to take over the world while having an amazing time playing whatever games strike his fancy. Known amongst the Blizzard community as "The Dreadmist Man".
I played over the weekend beta a couple weeks back and leveled up to 30 as a Bounty Hunter Mercenary and it was really great, it was nice to be able to listen to a conversation when talking to the quest NPC’s and choose a path and the voice acting on the Empire side was superb. I only got to play 2 games of huttball tho, i was too busy leveling. Pre-purchased awhile back looking forward to Dec 15 release for early access.
MMO Grinder Sidequest is a quick look at MMOs I wouldn’t normally review, be it through limited trial accounts, or Closed Beta games. First up, it’s the oft requested Star Wars The Old Republic.
At the Star Wars Guild Summit there was a video shown to the attendees that detailed the upcoming 1.2 Mega-Patch. Finally, after much waiting, comes the actual clear and HD version of that video…
Announcing the first gathering of the Disciples of Hatred during the Beta Weekend Stress Test! …and of course that silly Jedi Consular progression video too.
Your questions FINALLY answered! What are the best aspects of the game? Why this MMO than any other? Do we get to kill Jar Jar? All this and more in ToR Q&A #1!

I heard you Kyoufu!
Never been a fan of PvP, but this looks really fun. I like how its objective based, not deathmatch.
