I LOVE the Tony Hawk games (up until Project 8). Easy gameplay for just picking up and playing and yet with some skill, you can do some crazy shit.
My liking of them would be ranked: THUG, THPS3, THUG2, THPS4, THAW, THPS2, THPS
Of course, the amazing soundtrack. Albeit, THAW was the weakest for featuring Fall Out Boy and Green Day, but it still had some good songs (Live Wire & Image of the Invisible).
I’d say our ranking is very close actually.
I loved THUG and played it endlessly after work all those years ago.
Such good times
AW felt to me like an afterthought because they jammed so much into it and the soundtrack lacked the passion and the connection to the culture I felt.
Still I was glad they had a rise against track in it but I felt that CKY should have been a continued presence in the series
THPS4 and THUG 2 were my fav.
Fantastic sound tracks in those games too!
I think I covered THPS4 earlier this year too.
I really hope the new TH games bring back the styling of these games and just as fun
