What people seam to be forgetting its Benzaies top 5 its what he liked not you …him
Wow this list sucks…no to be hater,but the only one i pretty much approve of is Skyrim,and Where is Batman and Battlefield?He had them on the first seconds of the video but not on the list…Were they really just honorable mentions?But atleast COD was not on this list.XD

The Witcher 2 was not featured in the VGAs because it’s not backed by any of the big companies. Simple as that. The VGAs are nothing more that an extended commercial for the same crap over and over.
One little thing I have ti criticize about this TOP5 and your Movie-Top5: Maybe you should put the Title of the games you are listing on the screen. You played some indie games and it was hard sometimes to figure out what their name is.
Well since I dont play many video games here is my list of favorite games played this year (notice I said play so they can be older)
1. Skyrim
2. Arkham Asylum
Can’t say I was expecting so many puzzle games on the list- while Ms Splosion Man doesn’t really jive with me, I have GOT to check out IloMilo one of these days.
… And possibly Mortal Kombat. Even if I chose the side of Street Fighter in the great 2D-fighting wars all those years ago, perhaps… just maybe… now that time has healed the wounds, I can look at the other side without feeling like a traitor.
Great job putting Dark Souls on the list… thoug if it were my list… it’d be much higher… as in the top 3 if not number 1. =p
I actually own that VHS from hell. I’m ashamed in myself.
I was scared when I saw MW3 in the thumbnail. I’m actually not the biggest hater of the series as I actually did buy the game along with many other really good ones this year, but MW3 does NOT deserve any Top 10 list. It is exactly like what most people say, a carbon copy of the first 2, with only minor changes to the MULTIPLAYER. I can count all of them, on my hand. 1. A slightly different “Pointstreak” system (Still the same) 2. Weapon “Proficiency” (Basically tier 4 perks) 3. Prestige Unlocks (Unlock your OP weapons EARLY!). Other than that, no change=no awards.
I’m glad to see Trine 2 on the list, it would be on mine too if I made one.
Also, I must be the only one who didn’t get sucked into Skyrim that much. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve played it 48 hours (according to Steam) and I think it might be my one of my five most played games of the year even though I got it after the release. Thing is, it’s just not as immersive to me as it seems to be to most people (I had the same problem with Oblivion, but I didn’t like that nearly as much as Skyrim). Even so, I would place it on my own top 7, but not as high as others do.
Benzaie, you couldn’t have put it more aptly; **** the people who whine about Skyrim not being a carbon copy of Morrowind and Oblivion.
Frankly, I though Morrowind was a bit too complicated. Oblivion wasn’t quite as so.
Actually, I like that they don’t have character classes in this game. It lets you develop your character as you play. That’s pretty much how my characters always ended up developing in previous installments, regardless of the class I chose.
