I’m a fan of your Gameden Silent HIll videos and Silent Hill Let’s plays, and saw that you are writing that Silent Hill thing of your own (I like what I’ve read so far) so I feel like just the fact you read it at some point and give your thoughts is cool enough that I’m willing to wait ^^ Besides, I’m kinda unsure what to do with it presently anyways, especially when bearing in mind its a rough draft and I’ve not touched the thing in half a year lol

I love your play throughs. All your Silent Hill reviews has given me a new app reaction of the game series as a whole.
When I saw this on TGWTG’s front page, I was so excited! Your Game Den eps really got me into Silent Hill and I also really enjoyed your Shattered Memories LP when I’m not really a huge Let’s Play fan at all. So I’m really excited to watch the rest of this and hear what you have to say about the game because there’s just so much when it comes to Silent Hill.
Oh, you may already know about this, but there is a book coming out at the end of December about Silent Hill that I think sounds like it could be interesting. Yay! So glad that you’re doing this LP. I love your game den videos. Silent Hill 2′s in particular.
It doesnt matter if this game has been LP’d to death. By this point, you have a loyal enough fanbase that will watch this LP regardless. Not to mention, also by this point, you have proven yourself to be a competent LPer with the ability to make quality LP’s. You have a rare gift to keep your LP’s entertaining if you happen to come across a spot where you cant remember exactly what youre supposed to do. Alot of times with other LP’ers when they run into that type of situation, Im watching going “pick up the item, pick up the item, pick up the item, PUT THE FKN LOTION IN THE BASKET!!”. This is a case of quality over quantity, so dont be so hard on yourself.
Thanks for the kind words. I have mixed feelings about my LP’s, but I mostly do them because they’re fun to make, easy to put out quickly, and my viewers like them.
When I made the post on Facebook where I announced that I was considering doing this, someone responded that they were all for it and said something like, “I know it’s been done, but it hasn’t been done by you.”

He has a really good LP of Homecoming, even tho I never liked the game, I’ve been watching it for the quality. It’s interactive, informative and with a good sense of humor.
It’s pretty funny watching you play videogames because of your horrible sense of direction, the game is much more adventerous and longer because of it, hehe. Keep up the good work!

If you have problems then I recommend using a Videograbber (from Silvercrest or Terratwec), that way you can record the footage on the PC and play it on the TV so there willbe no delay. You might need a different SCART-cabel with 2 outputs also it costs a little money but that’s how I record my LPs and it works pretty well.
The Gamebridge will hook up to the TV as well, I just wasn’t entirely sure how to do it and Lee was in bed at the time.
Actually I heard the original voice actors talked to Konami and got them to agree to at least have an option for the original voices in the HD collection. Or something. It might be a rumor, but I remember hearing somewhere the guy who voiced James said they were 95% to getting a win-win situation of some sort.

This is the only game that made me cry, despite being one of the weirdest games ive ever played.
Never really focused on the toilet writings, but since you wondered, i’ll have to admit that even to me it doesn’t make sense much.
The words are Hebrew in Rashi script. I dunno what the drawing of the person means, but he/she looks frightened, and if i’m allowed to interpreted, the lairs on his/hers belly, are symbolic for the lairs underneath silent hill, kinda like the levels of hell maybe?? nice, huh?
As for the writing, the words near the right arm are “Zalah Yahadonahi”
Zalah is an acronym for “Zichrono Livracha” (“Of blessed memory”) and Yahadonahi is one of the ways for writing the god’s name. (Each way of writing symbolizes a different form of god’s appearance in the world, it can also be spelled a bit differently, so don’t take this as the absolute truth or somthing… dunno what this one means though)
Words to the left arm are something about “El Shaddai” which is also one of the names of god, only this time I’m quite sure it’s a “positive” way of appearance (miracles, guarding and inducing peach over people, etc).
The two words at the bottom are (maybe, cuz I’m not really sure) “Bekoac’h Torateynu” – “With the power of our Torah”, I guess.
None of it makes sense, since in Judaism, writing holy words such as these, in a foul and dirty place like a toilet, is considered a sin… or something close… I’m babbling…
Anyway if you ask me it’s all bullshit that the developers put in the game to make it look mystical. and sry for the poor english, I wish I could explain better

If you want Silent Hill 2 and 3 in HD with the original voices play them on the PC with the all the graphics settings set to high they look great that way
