PAX 2011 was AWESOME! We met a lot of people, collected a lot of swag, and shot a LOT of footage. Also, we wrap it all up with a HUG ;) announcement about the future of the show.

    I honestly don’t see how they could ever top BF 1942. BF 2 was crap. They have also done lots of other stuff that i will not comment on, but was also crap.

    If they want to improve on the series, then go back to the simpler times where you didn’t need a radar to go Bltzkrieging with a tank, or go on a suicidal flagcapturing rampage supported only by the very bombers you’d crash into enemy installments.

    BF vietnam was pretty cool, but none of the others ever were. I want the simplicity of ad hoc mayhem, not the complicated disatisfaction of being forced to play a much more complicated game with a bunch of 12-year olds.
    Bring back 1942!

    Part 9 : Oh no, I guess I’m a ‘fan’. Now I feel bad for not being a Turbo club member.
    Start up that Terraria server and we’ll talk :p

    Part 14 : Torchlight 2 – It’s a Diablo 2 clone, by the people who originally worked on Diablo 2. Most of their advertising to this point revolves around all the cool features that are in their game that Diablo 3 is fucking up royally. I’d give them my money, but then I saw the upcoming free to play game Path of Exile which looks incredible.

    GOG – also all the games they sell are tweaked to work out of the box on newer versions of Windows. Great service.

    Just wondering, is anyone else having problems with Part 13? I tried on here and directly from the blip account but I can’t get it to play, its just the black loading screen.

    I signed up today just to say how much I love your shows and to thank you. I had to spend a lot of time in hospital as of recent and watching your shows really kept me laughing and it really helped put a positive spin on my days. You guys (and girl) really helped me through a dark time and once again thank you for that.

    I didnt realise you were such big hawp fans, Its funny you should mention the “would you kindry” quote as I own the would you kindry hat. Ash sent it to me because I donated a large amount to the movie she is in. I will be going turbo soon but I was wondering since you seem like a fellow hat enthusiast, if you would be intrested in the would you kindry hat as an extra thanks from me? It would be hard to give up as I also love that show but I think I could just about do it.

    Hooray on the huge announcement thats fantastic to hear!

      Keep the hat! As much as it means to us that you would part with it, I think the memory is invaluable to you. Glad to hear we may have been a small part of your healing process. Would love to have you in the TURBO Club! Especially if you suck at TF2… I am looking pretty bad in there lately.

    Awesome show. You’ve probably got the right idea focusing less on playing the games as PAX’s reputation is more about gaming community. I was a bit sad you guys didn’t get to see Tobuscus doing the live Literal Trailer to Assassins Creed Revelations at the Ubisoft booth, but here’s a clip you can see later: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPnlJkvDp_U

    It’s a bit rough but the original literal’s pretty funny. Also, getting noticed by Yogscast might be a huge boon for you guys. Maybe Simon and Lewis will take an interest in the build challenges.

    Yay at the hug announcement, im so happy. And its not becky and fraser getting married. Can’t wait for all the new shows and minecraft con. Also, where is Fuuutuuuure Build part 2 and Braid episode?

      Speaking of Minecon, I don’t know much about it but can you guys get a booth? I know you’re not as famous as Yogscast but you are a popular show and your build challenges are a great idea!

    lol at the Delica explanation in Pt. 3..I’ve seen those while driving to Seattle before. I’ll have to be ready to buy a pass next year because they’d already sold out when I checked the PAX site.

    I can not only claim to be a long time viewer of your show, but a fan none the less. I have grown to liking every single one of you guys and girl. And might I say that this was a fantastic show! Keep it up Fraser!

    As in Horror/Halloween games I recommend: Call of Cthulhu at The Dark Corners of The Earth
    Vampire Bloodlines The Masquerade, Amnesia Dark Descent, Doom 3 and Grim Fandango (its not a horror game per say but It fits considering the characters are based on Mexican calaca figures used to celebrate the Day of the Dead)
