Springfield, Springfield, it’s a hell of a town! The schoolyard’s up and the shopping mall’s down! A sprawling and faithful Minecraft recreation of our most beloved fictional community! We’ve included everything from the school, to the bowling alley, the steel mill and even the box factory!

WOW, this build was amazing, and I can’t believe this was just part one! Amazing job team Derp + everyone who contributed to this. Also very funny with you guys dressed up as the Simpsons. The later seasons are worth checking out, just think of them as “the Simpsons for the new generation kids with ADHD” . If you think about it, the show has been on the air forever and they have to keep it fresh somehow. At first I didn’t like the new 3D graphics animation style that the Simpsons movie had but now I’m starting to appreciate them much more in the newer seasons. Also, the two games “The Simpsons: Hit & Run” and “The Simpsons Game” are both pretty good and you get a good perspective of where everything is located in Springfield.
Hope you guys can actually play 1.8 So far on macs the lighting in the games means it doesn’t work because most macs have an inferior graphics card.
The Homer Car is need it for the second part!
You guys are awesome, and when you mentioned, Fraser, that anyone who watches 100% of your show is a ‘complete’ fan, I think there are many of us out there—myself included! I’ll keep watching, if you keep on being awesome (cheesy—haha)! xxx

Man, this might be my favorite build… but I’m probably biased since I was a part of it.

I had such a blast with this!
(My builds were the Studios, the arcade, and all of the roads around town, and I also helped a bit with restoring Flander’s home)

imo simpsons are pretty good again since season 20/21 // if you guys haven´t watch those episodse you should really do it and see if you like them – i surely enjoyed season 21/22 and something big might happen O_O. I watched all the other seasons,too though – i was younger and therefore the stuff was funnier and now it´s just nostalgia. overlooking the flaws
and even in the “bad” seasons they had some strong stuff in them – imo
your show was good as most of the time – i understand most of the stuff which i can´t say for every build so i enjoyed it even more. i wan´t to do kyle now…

Yeah well even in the commentary they said after season four they started just putting things in places just for the sake of a joke even if it didn’t really make any sense, so long as it’s funny. Like the attic in “Bart Gets An Elephant” or well all the various places you showed in the beginning in “Marge Vs The Monorail”. I have to say just five minutes in I’m already impressed and though admittidley I came down on you before for doing these long giant minecraft and videos in general I’ve ocme to realize that was immature and not to ignore the passion people really put into this. And hey if it’s for stuff I love I’ll defintley watch as well especially the Simpsons. I still watch it (though I’ve missed episodes of the 20th, 21st and 22nd seasons) but glad to see you sticking to classic simpsons episode since yeah not only are they the better ones but chances are even in the “good” epsiodes of the modern simpsons you tend to forget what they do or have done anyway.
