    does the Blaze play US genesis games too? or just master system carts?

      Nope, only 8-bit games. The game gear was essentially a hand held Master System. so that’s why it plays them.

      But the 30 games are all in-built, you can’t add additional games with this system sadly, (I’ve never seen an 8-bit machine that does either).

    Is that the same portable Sega device that got a horrible review on this very site? It’s cheap because it causes headaches due to having a really small viewing window and sounds like crap.

      No thats the Megadrive one. This is the Gamegear one.

      But for 18 bucks it looked nice enough. The Megadrive one is a lot more expensive so…myeah.

      And if it sucks I’ll just send it to Dr. Steward Ashens

      No, that’s the Mega Drive version. The sound is nigh on perfect of the Master System/Game Gear.

    I bought Lego Rock Band a couple of weeks ago for $10 in JB Hifi (in Australia). Guess it is really unpopular. But I’ve played it – it has good songs on it, like Valerie by the Zutons. I know a lot more of the songs in it than I do Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock…

      I believe it’s because both Activision and EA have saturated the market with these games and people don’t know what to buy, that or they’re tired of having to buy more plastic crap everytime a sequel comes out.

      Sort of what happened with the Atari 2600/VCS.

    I used to have a gamegear until some neighbour kid wrecked it (only 2 months after I got the thing for Xmass). For 18 euro’s and no shipping costs to The Netherlands I thought it was a nice deal.

    Thanks guys, the deals will be getting a lot better in the run up to Christmas! moving out old stock and a pricing war on new titles between stores! :D
