Ladies and Gentlemen… ARE YOU READY FOR THE HUTTBALL?!?! Oh yes, bring on the carnage! Not only is the PvP Warzone in The Old Republic not bound by the faction you play (you’ll be blasting your same faction), you compete for cash and prizes! Don’t take my word for it, get ready for some Huttball and watch this video!
Don’t forget that if you’re going to be playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and would like to call on the powers of the dark side in a guild commanded by Nobunaga and Angry Joe, come and join us… the Empire needs YOU. Click below… then come join the discussion in our forums.
An eccentric millionaire bent on world domination, or at least trying to find happiness and ponder the existentialism-… oh who are we kidding he's just an evil eccentric who wants to take over the world while having an amazing time playing whatever games strike his fancy. Known amongst the Blizzard community as "The Dreadmist Man".

The Old Republic is adding a slew of new features with their first expansion, Rise of the Hutt Cartel.
The Old Republic is gearing up for its first expansion.
Chaos looks into the VERY recent free-to-play conversion of Star Wars: The Old Republic to see what been changed, and if there’s any real reason this game didn’t take the MMO world by storm like everyone thought it would.
It’s about time.
Declaration: This new companion is ready to engage assassination protocols and set prejudice to maximum.
BioWare continues to salvage servers from The Old Republic… but now they’re offering rewards for helping server communities?
A rapidly declining subscribership and a huge development staff can still sate EA’s hunger from ToR’s earnings, right? Right??
MMO Grinder Sidequest is a quick look at MMOs I wouldn’t normally review, be it through limited trial accounts, or Closed Beta games. First up, it’s the oft requested Star Wars The Old Republic.
And the weekend begins Thursday now too!

At the Star Wars Guild Summit there was a video shown to the attendees that detailed the upcoming 1.2 Mega-Patch. Finally, after much waiting, comes the actual clear and HD version of that video…

Last week saw EA and BioWare’s investors receiving a few updates on their many investments.

The Disciples of Hatred and it’s Roleplayers Contingent take on some PvP in the Star Wars: The Old Republic Beta
What’s in the SWTOR VIP Lounge??
Are you ready for some hot click-spamming PvP madness?!
Announcing the first gathering of the Disciples of Hatred during the Beta Weekend Stress Test! …and of course that silly Jedi Consular progression video too.
Your questions FINALLY answered! What are the best aspects of the game? Why this MMO than any other? Do we get to kill Jar Jar? All this and more in ToR Q&A #1!

Much like the Jedi, you were deceived. I was in the beta test all along! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Music Mondays revisits the band that brought us tunes from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Bit.Trip Runner.
It really does look like UT2003/2004 Bombing Run Mode.
I like the direction EA is going with Madden 2012.
I like it, but kind of don’t like it… na’ mean?
So… It’s Bombing Run from Unreal Tournament 2004 in a MMO.. Might be fun.
BEST, PvP zone, EVER.
Been done in UT 2003 and 2004 thos, so ever?
Hope they allow Swoop/Speeder racing too, probably depending on how they implement the bikes (fast travel/on rails path with encounters..etc.). Though they have said they won’t be making the bikes and stuff really fast so it won’t be a totally authentic experience of tearing through Beggar’s Canyon on a stripped down ride. Underground swoop racing would be a neat thing to set up just like in actual Star Wars if the environments are large enough and the bikes fast enough. Huttball looks like it could be something if they just tighten the team idea down a bit and have a good story to back it up.
Ha ha, that is freakin’ awesome!
SWTOR has Blitzball?
Where is the Podracing on Malistare?
Hopefully anything podracing is scoured from our memories.
If they add vehicle racing to the game, it’ll probably be in the form of swoop racing a la Knights of the Old Republic. After all, TOR is still technically a sequel to KOTOR.
There was a Bioware Interview addressing Podracing months ago. ^^ It’s on what the designers call a “Wall of Crazy” where the they place ideas that they want to do but can’t atm for one reason or another. ^_^ Check it out, it’s easy to find.
Can’t wait to try this
Werd.
Check out this 15 minutes match of Huttball that somebody recorded at the con, particularly the epic goings-on at 12:00

This video is surprisingly exciting all things considered. Huttball is looking to be damn good fun.
Lol, that was pretty awesome, and definitely original!
Not sure what to make of this. I’ve never been crazy for PVP in mmos so this doesn’t really excite me.
The trailer looks cool, but I think that in-game this will be a mess
I think it being a crazy mess of insanity and carnage is the point.
