Is the game called Aliens2: Colonial Marines? I see a little 2 in the upper right corner of the banner in the interview.. The colonial marine guy was pretty funny in the background. Good interviews Joe, very professional.

I am getting sick of shooters this year, and the amount of great co op brawlers and great action adventure feels like a great focus.

    Also BF3 PC >>>>>>> MW3 all versions

I love how the original description for dead island was that it was going to be a different survival game with guns and ammo being rare and a focus on team melee combat with emotional over tones. Then the trailer comes out and it’s LOL CALL O DUTY with 99% of the shots being the characters with guns. Think I’m gonna pass on that one.

What?! Dead Island won’t have a split screen co-op?? F#%$!!!!!!!

Plus the game doesn’t look like it knows what the hell it wants to be. A “bloody fun game” or a drama…Sigh…I’m afraid that I was too reckless while pre-ordering this game. I should have waited for some reviews and opinions.

Somehow it felt very rude that you kept asking about a superman game, when they were showing off a batman game…

I’m dissapointed. Dead Island sounded like an original idea…a dramatic zombie horror game with a focus on the average Joe fighting a zombie hoard with an emotional focus..usually zombie horror games are about over the top action, or military actions like in resident evil, or goofyness like Dead Rising, or what they did in L4D, which is a mix of goofy with semi-serious and has waves of zombies while in first person mode. Dead Island looked different..emotional weight to the whole zombie hoard idea, knowing among the zombie hoard is your loved ones. Now it looks to be not that at all, just another left4dead style zombie horror game..which upsets me. Plus that guy seemed to be ill-equipped for an interview to me, like he was just placed there.

Arkham City looks awesome though, and I wonder about the Robin levels. (I find it odd that of all robin’s they chose Tim Drake instead of Dick Grayson but whatever, maybe that just means we can have Nightwing later down the road.)

I am disappoint as well. God forbid there be any originality in the zombie genre. I was planning to buy it as well, if for nothing more than a unique, cinematic experience. Now I am not sure… I feel like I have misled.

If Robin is in the game I am not buying it. Robin should stay dead or in the teen titans where he belongs.
Dead island is another joke zombie game!!!??? Another joke zombie game? Was not Lollipop zombie and dead rising enough? DEAD ISLAND was a sure buy for me, I saved up money for a month just to buy it on launch day and now the fake mood of the trailer is exposed for what it is another joke game! ARGH! Im not buying it now I can tell you that much! Thanks for exposing this crap for what it is Joe!

Really you’re not getting a game because robin is in the game? I don’t think you can even play as robin unless if you preorder it and get the dlc items. Also Robin was the coolest side kick in the dc universe dude. Also on top of that you can only play as him in the challenge maps. You didn’t even watch the video did you, because if you did you would have herd the word challenge maps. I’m seriously sensing that you didn’t watch the interview at all for any of the games. For Dead Island the guy said that there would be emotional things like that during the game it’s not like you can make the entire game emotional for a bunch of people that you didn’t know on the island. As for me i will be getting both games because i actually listened to the interviews and saw all the trailers for both games and am excited for them.

I watched it all. The guys you play in dead island are tough and cool heroes with one-liners and plenty of attiude. LoL. Its an action game with some horror elements when I thought dead island would be a just a horror game with a serious feel. I want a horror game! Horror!

As for Robin I dont like that Batman has a sidekick at all. I want Batman in the Arkham series to be in a Batworld where Robin does not exist at all. Robin is a great character but he needs to be in Teen titans or in his own series. Batman should not have a sidekick period!

Joe, I have watched you for years now, and I’ve always been stunned on how you improved your show, with the new space station and everything. These Interviews have made me realise how much you have improved as a person in interviews. Back then you seemed kinda nervous sometimes, but these clips up there are absolutely fantastic. Not a bit of nervousness at all. You talked to these guys like they where your friends, not fumbled on words. It was professional with great question selection and thus very informative – it was just plain awesome. Finally you seem as “honest” on the interview-floor as you are on your reviews.

Right now, I think you are one of the top, if not the best game reviewer out there. With these high qualities you should have your own TV-Show!

As someone said before me: Hearing you talk with these guys (who were also really great) is getting me hyped just listening.

    Go Joe!

Batman, nothing to say, it will be awesome no doubt.

Crimpson Alliance, eh, Xbox, cant play it but it looks good.

Not interested in Dead Island myself.
I remember when the game was first announced and you could see this footage about how a zombie head was composed of various layers etc.
Looked really awesome and I was hoping for a real co-op survival horror title but its just an arcade first person game.
Looks too much like l4d imo.

Colonial Marines, maaan im such a fan of Aliens, this game will hopefully be amazing :)
I can atleast say it looks promosing.

I’m looking forward to Arkham City. I’m still on the fence about Dead Island.

Arkham City though: Definatly going to get this one. The villan trailers look exciting, and I’m excited for the new riddler challenges. I also loved your interaction with the Rocksteady developer. I bet that was a highly enjoyable interview.

It’s great to see someone who is so enthusiastic about their game without coming across as egotistical *coughPeterMolyneux*cough*
I was getting hyped for it just listening to him talk about it.
