Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Review

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only WAR. Where the forces of the Xenos and the legions of the Heretics spread their decay and ruin, the Adeptus Astartes will be there to repel the invaders and punish those who dare set foot on the lands christened in the Golden Emperor's kingdom. This is the life, of a Space Marine.

I’ve played the demo and I’m not impressed. There doesn’t seem to be any impact to the combat at all. Shooting orks or hitting them with your chainsword doesn’t seem to phase them at all until they die and grenades are woefully underpowered. The only thing that has any impact are the dedicated stun moves and groundpounding with the jump-pack. Likewise, I hardly ever notice when I get hit because there doesn’t seem to be any effect other than draining my health.

Ok, my earlier post was more about silencing the nonbelievers, so this time I’ll answer Joe’s question, indeed I have more reasons why this game will kickass. It’s the attention to detail that Relic is putting into it. The Chainsword feels, sounds and tears through flesh like a chainsword should. The Bolter blows up in flesh making explosions of blood wherever it hits. The Axe deals lovely lovely shockwaves of energy and makes these awesome humming sounds whenever you slice something.

As far as I have seen on the videos, my favourite weapon, the Meltagun, is pure awesome shooting out a wave of heat and melting everything in it’s path.

But the weapons aren’t the only thing that gets the attention, Relic put a lot of work into making you feel like a heavy but elegant mass of murder. Each footstep you make gives you the sound signifying you are friggin HEAVY and you definitely can’t move as fast as some ninja freak, but damn do things fly when you shoulderbash them! I could go on and on and on about how I love every little thing they’ve made, but I’ll stop here for now.

If you’re reading this and haven’t tried the demo, DO IT NOW, THE EMPEROR DEMANDS IT!

PS. As for you Joe, you’d BETTER play on the PC so I can kick your marine’s behinds in the name of the dark gods! (as far as I can tell you’re playing the loyalist scum, right…?)

I can’t try the demo, I’m based in England -_-

Nethertheless, I did pre order a collector’s copy of the game. I also agree with the way the weapons are depicted – NOTHING has depicted the firepower of the 41st Millenium this accurately since Fire Warrior (dreadful as it was, and even that had some dubious weapons – since when was a Lasgun more powerful than a Pulse Rifle?)

Joe, I really like the new effects and graphics for the numbers of this top 5 list. You’ve given it a personal touch that goes along with your overall show’s theme instead of numbers popping over a black or space background like most do. The metal plate with the bolts and the welding effect underlining the numbers looks great. It’s nice to see someone continually trying to improve his craft in every area.

I’ve never really gotten into warhammer 40k, but I’ve seen my friend play. I preferred the Chaos Marines, but this top 5 list got me interested in at least giving this game a shot. Thanks Joe.

First off, let me note that there hasn’t been any hint on “Project 10$” just yet.
As far as I can tell, the co-op mode is not finished yet and will be released for free at a later date after the game is released.

Actually, Relic has a history of doing the same thing with The Last Stand mode in Dawn of War 2. You don’t seem to pay for it even if you buy the game now, so why would you start worrying now?
Place a little trust in the guys who give you this kickass slaughter fest!

Another thing I would like to note is that with Space Marine, Relic Entertainment is testing the waters, so to say. Of course, they could make a game about the Dark Eldar, but how many people would actually catch on? Face it, when a noob thinks “Warhammer 40k” they think “Ohhh, it’s those blocky big blue guys, right? Fighting orks and those red guys?” Think about it. I know I was like this before I got into Warhammer. They need to release a game that more people can recognize, so that later they could maybe release a simmilar game but with some other race in the main scope. It also could work as further promotion of Warhammer 40k in general, so it’s a win-win.

PS. JOE, I want those damn demo impressions RIGHT NOW! :D
I know mine are over the top, as should be x3

PS2. The game sure as hell doesn’t get old fast, at least for me… must have played the demo at least 10 times now.
Oh, and did you know we have a Chapter-specyfic mod-pack on Relicnews? Playing as an Angry Marines Titus is so awesome :D

They were going to include tyranid in the game, but they cut them out for some reason.
Despite the fact that I would love to see a warhammer game with every playable faction I can kind of understand why they didn’t do that here. I think it would be better to use a few for different games (they need to give a Tau game a second shot) having a ton of races to choose from in this game would result in it being a mess to play in multiplayer.

As much as I would love a game focused around (or about) the Necrons, I really can’t see it happening. Besides the C’tan and Necron Lords, the Necrons don’t really have minds of their own, so being able to control one isn’t likely, unless its a Necron Lord. They could be the focus for a game staring Eldar or so though, since they have a rather large history together.

Right… until this day, I’ve always considered the Space Marines the most boring races of all. A basic space marine suit is something I can imagine an 8-year old trying to draw to a homemade sci-fi comic. Their fanatical hold on their religion annoys me, and their racism against alien races even more.

Not that it’s not cool in a fictional world, it’s just over the top to me. Imperial Guard has personality with their tough control with the comissars and everything, added to the fact that they’re normal humans, and not built precisely for war. IG-TAU-Chaos was always my scale of favorites.

But now that I saw this vid… well… I feel that Space Marine might change my views on space marines. And it does have the chaos there. I might actually come to like this game. Can’t wait for a chance to try out.

One thing though. Why is Co-op mode DLC? I know it’s free and all but I’m really getting sick of game content being made available after the game has come out. Things like map packs in Halo or CoD or hats in Team Fortress I get, but the whole co-op mode? Come on guys, that’s just annoying.

Before I say what I’m going to say, I would like to clarify that I REALLY want this game to be good. I’ve been dying for a good Space Marine game that makes the player feel like the invisible bad ass of 40K lore.

That being said, Reasons 4 and 3 on your countdown are going to f*** multiplayer over a barrel. When dealing with a class-based team multiplayer experience, the most important aspect is the ability to not only recognize another players team at a distance, but also what class they have. The differences between the classes seem minute at best and with sixteen people all sporting completely customized armor schemes, how in the name of the God Emperor of Mankind am I supposed to tell if the giant pink and black beast charging towards me is a friend trying to hand me a health pack or a enemy about to tear both of my hearts out?

Can these issues be fixed? Yes, of course they can. However, unless Relic makes a concerted and creative effort to do so, Space Marine’s multiplayer community is going to fall apart like demon standing next to an Untouchable.

I dont think that is a problemm, from what i can see the castumization won’t brake the characters outline, seeing how different the space marins and chaos general form is, and the huge models that belongs only to certine classes (jumpacs to asoult marins and reptors, to hand held cannons and heavy bolters to devestators ect) indifing wont be to hard.

I’ve played the multi-player demo on the gamescom, while I don’t know how final the version was I’ve played, I had no problems recognizing any enemy players. Your team had symbols above them, the enemy didn’t.

And for the classes… that quite easy, jump-pack=assault, big-gun=Devastator, No-jumppack and no big gun= tactical marine.

The demo I’ve played convinced me in the end, to preorder the game.

I played the demo on Steam. So far I like what I see. There are three minor concerns, and one complaint.

    Concerns:
1.) If this is all there is to the single player, I could see the gameplay getting repetitive for some people. I happen to like games like Serious Sam, and Painkiller where slaying hundreds of bad guys is kind of the point. But those who like slower plodding action/adventure hybrids with lulls where you puzzle solve may feel a little meh. So I hope the full game is just the right length, and if it is a huge campaign, finds a way to change it up a bit for those other players

2.)If you’re right Joe, and it’s only those two factions for MP I hope THQ, and Relic add the other races Orc/Eldar/etc. into the mix for fans of those races for MP.

3.) Stage 1 demo has a very set path, and a lot of invisible walls. Admittedly, this is a negative trend with videogames these days. But after all of their RTS work which featured huge terrain, I’d hoped levels would be a little less restrictive or hide the progression better. Still it’s a minor quibble.

Complaint (And full game may address this)

The demo on PC forces you to disable the gamepad (If you have one) before you can tweak keyboard, and mouse settings? WTH!?!?!? Also the resolution, and other graphical settings were very limited. You could pick aspect, and only a few options for resolution for each. Why can’t I just crank it to 1680×1050? The other settings were very minor. So I hope the full game lets us tweak AA, Vsync, Texture quality, HDR, etc. etc.

Other than that liking what I see so far.

I don’t know the specifics of why one regional market would get a demo over another. My guess would be international publishing rights, or some other legal issue where Relic/THQ can put it out here on Steam (USA) but another country may have a law or clause that impedes their ability to put out a demo in that country (ie: UK, Germany, France, etc.). I don’t know, I’m not a lawyer.
But that would be my best guess. I suppose it could also be some kind of hidden tarriff on downloads. Again I don’t know, you’d have to contact the publisher.

In any event, seems cool so far.

Why can’t we have more games like Fire Warrior? Not necessarily how the game played, I found it a bit generic, but that game had you play as a Tau Shas’la. I suppose the Space Marines are more marketable though…oh well, one day.

I don’t see why you get so offended by “Project 10$” type content being free for new copies and being a paid DLC through Xbox Live/PSN for used copies (At least that way the devs see some profits, even from used game sales which usually go solely to the store in question). As for the game itself, I think it will be very good and easily a must have for WH40k fans.

I think if they keep in the formula after Spacemarine is released, with a new game in the style based around each race, with their distinct differences in the forefront, they could use these games as a kind of lore initiation for potential Warhammer 40k players who are sitting on the fence about whether or not to invest in the admittedly expensive tabletop strategy game. I know if I had the money, I’d get into Warhammer 40k and the only lore I’ve really been introduced to is the Orks (which are awesome) because of a roommate who picked the game up in college.

what the hell Joe? Only 5!?
Reason #6 Let’s you handle some of the iconic 40k weapons, like chainswords, power swords, plasma pistols and thunder hammers.
Reason #7 We get to kill new orc designs. Loved the riot shield orc.
Reason #8 We get to visit a forge world.
Reason #9 We get to see how space marines fight, the look extreemly bulky, and i doubt i am the only one who wondered how they manage to kick ass.
Reason #10 Ork nobs also have execution moves to make the 40k battles more awesome and 40k.
Reason #11 The game supports a TON of different screen resolutions which will make pc gamers happy.
Reason #12 The bolter actually SOUNDS and feels like a bolter. On the down of war series the bolters sounded like regular machineguns and it was crap. Those of you who think otherwise must be slaped. For those of you who are unfamiliar with 40 k lore, the bolter is basically a high rate of fire rocket launcher, bolts are chemical ignition propelled at super sonic speed and explode once inside the target. (in this demo)These sound powerful and stompy and just feel right.
Reason #13 You must brutally kill to regain healt to continue brutally killing for the sake of mankind.
Reason # 14 Games workshop actually helped the designers invent some new weapons for the game.
Reason # 15 I am positive that i missed something very important and awesome here.
    Reason # 16 Because i said so, and i’m a necron.

Am I the only one for whom AJs videos have turned somewhat into slideshows a few months ago? I don’t have this problem with anyone else, be it on blip or YouTube… I haven’t seen any complaints so I guess I’m the only one but something about the res or encode really disagrees with my system. Makes me sad :(

I’ve never gotten into WH40K, be it previous video games or the tabletop game, but this one definitely has my interest piqued. It’s something I’ll at least consider for my Christmas wishlist.

Not to say I know nothing about 40K, though. I’m guessing I’d go “Salamander” as my default chapter.

To be honest I don’t plan on buying this, but it does look rather good. I also know that if i do end up getting it i have to buy it new. I find it bull that we can’t buy it use. Games are expensive to some people with the economy sucking, the games that weren’t “I MUST GET THIS DAY 1″ games, but ones i wanted to see (mortal combat being one i got yesterday and loving it) i had to buy a pass. i think in doing this they are emlimating gamers from playing their games at all. Game developers should just want people to play their games and enjoy them and that may get them to play their later titles. and if we do buy it used dont forbid us from playing online, maybe give the new copies like extra armor or items or something, ur taking out a good 40% of the game

Looking forward to playing the demo on my PS3 after watching this. Couldn’t find much info on the game before now, but after hearing all the positives news from the early demo players and seeing all about the customization, definitely making this a priority buy and looking forward to joining the Angry Joe Marines. Though the name might need a little distinction unless we want actual Angry Marine Power feet kicking down our doors…..

I’m not a fan of Table top games, but I do like the Warhammer 40K universe. This game has caught my interest because of the mixture third person shooter action, and Hack n’ Slash action gameplay.
Usually when a game has both, one over shadows the other, but Space marine looks very promising about. I’m egger to see just what this game has to offer.

I am looking forward to this game more than ever. Although, having just played the demo on the PC, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME WITH MOUSE AND KEY BOARD!

I too am hoping for a PSN division and the Blistered Thumbs Chapter. However, Idk if this is what you meant Joe, but there is already an Angry Marines chapter. For those who don’t know (and I’m surprised if you haven’t) This is what we would have to live up to.

I already had some interest in this game, but now I’ve seen you can customize your marine THAT much, that has pretty much made this a day 1 buy for me.
Games these days do not give enough player customizing and it annoys me when it’s such a big part of games now and can really drive people to buy.

So AJ, what format will you be getting the game on?

I first heard about this through Steam’s News updates, and it looked surprisingly good.
I’ve always liked the designs of WH40,000K but I never got into the games because
I’m not a big fan of RPG/RTS math, and management.
The Video games were a little better about that, but again I didn’t get into them. That,
and while I would try those sorts of games just for the experience, most of my friends/relatives
never would. So I think this will be a great game for people like me. Who know what the universe
is, who love the characters, maybe even did the collecting/painting but never got into the
P&P or RTS games, or just gave up on them out of frustration.
It could possibly attract RTS fans who normally would never play an action game.
I don’t know that it will do gangbusters but it is something different in terms of atmosphere.
With everything being WWII, or Modern War scenarios people who don’t even know what Warhammer is may be willing to give it a spin on just the fact it isn’t yet another Call of Duty or Battlefield clone.

I really admire the new effects used in this video. A serious step up from your previous “Top 5 Reasons” videos.

I remember from the first trailer it somehow made me think it was gonna flop and I ignored further news. Then I for some reason chose to watch the multiplayer trailer, and got hooked. I could kick myself for ignoring it. I’m so looking forward to it and I’m definitely getting it on Steam (pre-purchase) for the Blood Ravens chapter. Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Review

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Review

In the universe of man, there is only one place for the xeno filth of the universe: Dead at the bottom of a ditch. In the fringes of space, humanity finds itself in a neverending war with aliens and deities the likes we’ve never seen. There is no pity from the Legions of Chaos from the Eye of Terror, as they seek to raze the imperium of man to dust, and there is no remorse from the Necron, a race of skeletal cyborgs subservient to the cause of wiping out all living life forms across the stars. There is no end to the Tyranid horde, a massive wave of predatory primordials that exist to feed on all living tissue, and there is no hope to stop the Ork WAAAAAAAAAGH, the battlecry that heralds the downfall of countless settlements in systems as the Orkish hordes ravage and raze everything in sight to fuel their bloodlust maddened rampage.

When you’re up against odds like this, throwing in the towel seems like the best strategic option. However, the forces of man have more than enough assets to keep these threats at bay. The one we’re going to talk about today is none other than the Adeptus Astartes, the superhuman walking tanks that show no fear and destroy any threat to the sanctity of humankind in its path.

Today, we read of one of the many legends of the Space Marines.

PROSTough as nails shooter, Exhaustive multiplayer, Impressive presentation
CONSIncredibly predictable story, Chaos felt somewhat tacked on, Simplistic
WTF?!What’s the level above “Ultraviolence”?

On the Forge World of Graia, one of many factory planets that supplies the war effort of the kingdom of men, an invasion force of over a million Orks has set down upon the planet to ravage and loot materials from Manufactorum Ajakis. This industrial sector of the planet produces multiple types of war munitions ranging from bolter rounds to automatic turrets and houses a manufacturing plant for Warlord Class Titans, gigantic mechanical biped walkers that can change the tide of battle in an instant. While the strategic value of this asset is extremely high, using the extreme force of Exterminatus, a last resort to scorch a planet of xenos infestation, or orbital bombardment would prove to be more harm than good even if the world is recaptured to the strategic assets.

Therefore, the Adeptus Astartes Ultra, the Ultramarines, are deployed to Graia to cripple the invasion forces before the liberation fleet arrives to retake the planet. While the armored men in blue begin to repel the greenskins, a man named Drogan, a high ranking Inquisitor in the Ordo Xenos (Alien Hunters), requests the aid of the Space Marines to secure high risk Imperial assets that are vital to the struggle against all xeno encounters across the sector. Little do they know that by helping the Inquisition, they risk switching this planet’s demise from that of the aliens to that of heresy.

This isn't your flamethrower, this is your shotgun. Let that sink in a little bit.

While the story is a little fluffy, and will only tide you over for about 8 hours of total play time, it is also a basic story that the Space Marines of the 40K Universe have to deal with on a constant basis, and one I will probably revisit more than once: The Xenos invade, the Astartes arrive, ultraviolence for the Emperor, go home for some supper, repeat. One of the stinging problems that hovered over the campaign on top of this is how incredibly predictable it is. I was playing through the campaign with my friend looking on and we were both calling out the plot twists within hours of them happening, so don’t expect a Pulitzer from Space Marine.

You take control of Captain Titus, leader of the Ultramarines incursion on Graia. With the products of the manufactorum at your disposal, you must prevent the looting of the Titan war machines and repel any greenskin forces. Flanked by Sidonus, Veteran Sargeant of the Ultramarines with greenskin blood on his mind, and Leandros, a new inductee to the order that goes out of his way to let the Codex Astartes guide his hand rather than his battle experience, the Ultramarines work in tandem to help the Imperial Guard root out the Orks and reclaim Graia for their own.

I just don’t understand how this game got so many good reviews. (Warhammer fans are that prevalent?)

Besides the lackluster story and poor, downright POOR design for levels, (hey look the entire area is gray that’s been splashed over with orange, now check out your armor it’s all blue and everything that’s important glows a bright blue from new guns to ammo) and the straight as hell no surprises mechanics of a boring hack n’ slash there’s just something about this game that screams no originality.

People down rated a poster here that noted the similarities between this game and the Gears series but I seriously don’t blame him.

Pffft Legiones Astartes thats so M .31
It’s Codex Astartes for the last 10 000 years. Hollyness of Space Marines could be far and widely disputed. (For one they aren’t zealous at least in religious sence. The don’t see emperor as a god, but merely as an exceptional man. They aren’t very holly. While they are essentialy his product, there arent holly as such, since he wanted to free mankind of religgions and superstitions and such.
Besides the Imperium of Man does have real holly warriors. Adeptus Soorias are so holly they have an invoulnerable saves (even the vehicles).

I like the game a lot, and I agree with some of the points made here. I think the main problem people will have with it will be the repetition in the Single player. I really didn’t have much of a problem with it, as I like that sort of “Kill it if it moves” mayhem. But I could see where someone into traditional third person action/adventure games may tire of it. The Multiplayer on the other hand has been a lot of fun for me. I feel it gives something to the Arena shooter crowd, while at the same time keeping the levelling system for fans of modern wartime shooters. At the same time going from shooting to slaying to shooting is really smooth, and doesn’t have a disjointedness to it. I do hope they will add more WH40k character types to it. I Would love to use Orks, Eldar, etc.

i am currently working my way thougt the story and so far the game is really soild the only thing i have notied is it becomes extremly easy if you stand at range and pot shot them in the head sens they die from 1 shot and if you get one of the big once change to the uber sinper rifle 2 shots in the head and dead and you take almost no dmg

and for ppl who say this is a gear of war rip off, it is not the only thing in commen is the third person prespetiv. the way you do combat, the way you get hp how the weapons feel all very very diffrent (i’d like to see sombody just rush and melee ppl in gear of war and see how that works out)

there are a few thing that nags at me with the PC port, no windowed mode that i could find, not option for me to change with screen it was gonna use for full screen no private servers all small nagging points in the back of my head that disspoint me

I’m getting kinda tired explaining this to people so I’ll just say 40k came long before gears did also this isn’t a cover based shooter and is fundamentaly nothing like Gears of War.

Oh you, you’re so silly, thinking this game is even close to Gears of War in any way.

On topic, this game is far more than a try it out. My brother, who has never done anything with the tabletop game, thoroughly enjoyed this game. Maybe you didn’t want to let your love of the TT game color your review, but in this case, it wouldn’t have mattered. Because this game is honestly the most fun I have had in a video game in a long time.

I will make a post in the Community forums under the Guild/Clans section about the color scheme. Hopefully I can get a good picture of it from my iPhone, because I have this for X360.

Basically, a lot of Bolter Grey for primary, and Sunburnt Yellow/Gore Red for trimming. I was mainly trying to emulate the yellow, white and red on a gray background that’s on the Blistered Thumbs logo.

I’ve got a simple but neat looking design for yah. With the space marine i go all battle damaged parts except for the standard breastplate with colors of black and grey, then make the right arm pure brandished gold with the relic armor forearm and master crafted shoulder.

I can only guess that you decided on the “try it out” recommendation is because you felt your WH 40k fandom may have affected your review. I can honestly say that as someone who was never a fan or had much of any interest of the table top game or the other games that this game deserves nothing less than “Buy it now.” It is simply glorious. From the instant i played the demo to my first game in the multiplay i could not stop squealing at the awesomeness this game bleeds. To the point that i am now seeking out how to start playing the table top game.

Oh, and i disagree that the chaos feel tacked on to the game, it felt more like the equivalent to the flood in Halo. A sort of kill all the Orks(covenant), oh holy hell the Chaos(flood) are coming we are boned. Not that i’m saying one is a rip off of the other, i’m just comparing them from a storytelling standpoint.

I’m Kuro92 and just like the advertisements i find myself saying “I am a Space Marine”

I just felt that they paced their arrival poorly. In part III, BAM, Chaos arrive. What happens in part III/IV? Lots of Ork killing or Ork/Chaos fighting each other.

While I didn’t mind this at first, Relic put Chaos as not as immediate a threat in contrary to when Nemeroth appears in TERMINATOR ARMOR ready to pull your spine out your ass with his mind. It’s basically “HEY! WE’RE HERE TO FUCK YOUR SHIT UP, but we’re not going to be an immediate and present threat until the endgame.” If they made it so that Chaos was more visible in III, and then move the Warboss fight to near the end of IV, that probably would have been better pacing.

@Hidden Distance: Far worse when you Are an Australian, with probably 14 other Australians, and there’s one North American with host : | (Actually I only had troubles the first two games, haven’t had bad lag since)
P.S. Compared to other Relic DoW storylines this one is complex! Or at least subtle… see Kyras!

After spending a good 8 hours slogging through the campaign on Normal… I am sorry but Space Marine did not do as well as it sounds. The story is not engaging, there are not enough moments like the death of the warboss. Chaos was poorly implemented to the point that several of their fights felt very rough and as if Relic had not really play tested them. The characters are flat for the most part, Mira was one of the very few characters with any depth or emotion. Personally I feel the story side of things is due to the game focused on the most bland and horrid of the space marines. If we had gone with any other chapter so much more depth and feeling could have been pumped in and made Space Marine more enjoyable. Then again what do I know I just play the tabletop and read the fluff for the universe.

How badass is that? That guy’s voice is packing so much timbre it might as well be a lumber mill.

I enjoyed the campaign and am enjoying the multiplayer, but the P2P matching system on PC was a thorough disappointment. I often find myself matching with someone hosting on what I can only imagine is a 386 on dialup, and he’s playing with 15 of his friends along with me, but they all reside in Australia.

P2P aside, if I at least got a browser so I could vet which games I would want to join and which games I wouldn’t based on ping/server performance, that would be nice but the ‘join game’ wait & hope plan really sucks.

That’s sadly a location thing, because while there is obvious game lag, there is no problem with hosts or host transfer on 360. Everytime a host would disconnect, it would probably only take a couple of seconds for the game to secure a new player to host. I was honestly impressed by it as I know well how bad host migration can be (See: Monday Night Combat).

A few of the host transfers have.. well – just simply not happened. It goes to transfer, two minutes later you just decide to chuck it and join a different game.

This is my first experience with a P2P matching environment and I’m not impressed.

Well so far I’ve had only one lag match like that on PC multiplayer, and that one was able to be migrated to a better host.

I would have liked Dedicated Servers or even a LAN mode on PC but it is what it is.
I will say the P2P is not as problematic as Modern Warfare 2 was when it came out.
That game host migrated every few minutes no matter who I was paired with.

All of that said, I’m in New England, I don’t know how well traffic is in your neck of the woods.

A Look at the Space Marine Demo

With early access to the demo having been released to pre-purchasers of certain editions of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, Johnny takes a quick vid-cap jaunt through a forgeworld and puts a lot of orks to death, while chatting and drinking a cup of coffee. Black unsweetened really HOT coffee! ‘CAUSE THIS IS SPACE MARINE!
