if you were looking for another piece for your utility belt, you're out of luck.

Looking to purchase the Batman: Arkham City collector’s edition but didn’t know what it was coming with? BT is here to the rescue! This edition will set you back $99.99 and includes the following:

  • Custom Batman statue produced by Kotobukiya
  • Collectible art book
  • Early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns skin
  • Batman: Arkham City album from WaterTower Music including original songs by hit artists, available via digital redemption
  • Bonus DC Universe animated original movie, Batman: Gotham Knight
  • Four collectible cards

I was kind of hoping for some explosive gel or detective mode goggles, but I guess a sweet statue of Batman is just as good. The collector’s edition will be available on October 18th, the game’s release date, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

when you can’t even get exclusive items (that other CAN”T get) it makes for more incentive to get collectors, but early access? i’ll save the 30 bucks

Wait, it has Gotham Knight too? Is it digital, or do they have physical disc versions? Because I wanna get that on Blu ray. Might as well get this on PS3 if so.

I just know realized that this game comes out on the same day as Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. Not sure I’ll get this collector’s edition, since they’re not really my thing, plus I need to play the original Arkham Asylum first.

Get the GOTY edition. The 3D is pretty darn cool and the extra challenge maps are a nice bonus.

The GOTY is all the have at Best Buy, so of course I’ll be getting that, but I don’t have a 3D TV, so I can’t enjoy the 3D.

You don’t need a 3 tv. I have a regular tv and it works pretty well on mine. It’s not 3DS quality but it’s still pretty cool.

At least this one comes with an artbook and album. Arkham Asylum’s batarang was so cheap. The diary was cool though. I’ll wait till after release to see if it’s worth picking up statue-wise.
