Why does this game remind me of the old “Track and Field” game where you just kept slapping the button over and over and over as fast as possible… and that’s it?

Another mind-blowing use of the Kinect! I am so glad this technology is being exploited to deliver us inventive and unique gameplay that will change the way we think of games!

Eww, they really dropped the ball with this. If you want a good (Or at least an okay) motion-controlled Harry Potter game, check out the Wii versions of Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince. I’ve only played the former, but everyone says HBP is pretty much the same. Even then, they’re far from gold. I mean I’m not sure if they’d be fun games to play on any other console, but even so it would be a million times better than this crap.

I’ve said it a million times but…microsoft went through all that stuff to make this highly advanced motion capture technology, and THESE are the games they make for it?

Many people have mockingly called this game “Gears of Hogwartz,” but to do so is actually a rather large disservice to Gears of War. In hindsight, the other Harry Potter games weren’t half bad compared to this sorry junk.

A bad video game based on a movie license. And we needed a review to tell us this?

    Fun video though Joe.

Microsoft has brought random stick waving to non-Wii games. Truly, the Kinect is a giant leap forward in gaming technology.

Jeez, this looks worse than Sonic Free Riders, Espicially if played on the Kinect. Say what you want about Sonic Free Riders controls not working, at least it isn’t tedious like this was. And why does the best movie of the summer get the worst game to go with it? This has to be another 1/10… unless it has a controller option, but it has to be a 1/10, just for not following the Harry Potter Mythos at all in terms of gameplay.

Yeah, the first game wasn’t all Kinect based, it was more like Gear of Wars I believe, but it had this on rails Kinect part to it.
