On part 12, the Sonic Generations video, the new sonic is riding on a surfboard because of the game Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. It was an awesome game with awesome music. It isn’t like the old sonics, you can take care of little things called Chaos, and you can play as a “Hero”, sonic, tails, and knuckles, or a “Dark”, Dr. eggman, shadow, and rouge. Its a fun game, you should try it!

About SWTOR, you’re wrong about the story part… It’s BioWare and since the beggining they sweared to focus on the story implementing a shitload of Mass Effect/Dragon Age like content, unique to each classes and factions. they are really working hard on the setting of this game. these guys don’t want their background to sounds and feels as shitty as WoW and RIFT, they did Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic 1 which is one of the bests RPG ever made, and a real hommage to the original Star Wars Trilogy by its great story and plot twists.

This Catwoman isn’t so much a reboot as she is based on the original comics version. Burton took a lot of liberties with her character in his movie (like the magic undead cat powers – the original was basically a female version of Batman, no powers, but crazy agility and cat-themed weaponry and gadgets). Most incarnations of her have her as a strong-willed woman who takes the Cat persona for fun and profit, not a male-oppressed stick-in-the-mud who snaps and goes freaking nuts.

All-in-all, Selena Kyle gives furries a good name.

My hate for Mr. Caffeine has the intensity of a thousand suns. At least they had the choice to turn him off I had to suffer through the whole conference with him.

And Arkham Asylum is a pretty good game, it really surprised me you should try it :)

And Saints Row is basically GTA on crack, it doesn’t look as good but whereas GTA is getting more and more serious with some fun oneliners and situations this is just balls to the wall crazy. Also felt the music stations in Saints Row 2 were a lot better.

“Why does Sonic ride a skateboard? That’s so stupid!”

Um, he rode a snowboard in Sonic 3. Riding boards in a Sonic game wasn’t exactly invented by the Modern games. I love how you guys keep saying how Modern Sonic is trying to overdo it on the “EXTREME!!” things, when that was pretty much what Sonic’s whole character was always about. He was the mascot with an attitude and every commercial for his games back in the day highlighted that fact. Heck, every cartoon and comic he’s starred in has always had him as a dude with a tude, so I don’t see how Modern Sonic overdoes the EXTREEMME!!ness. Sure, games like Shadow the Hedgehog went overboard with trying to make other characters grittier or darker, but I don’t see any problem with Sonic being “extreme.”

“Why does he have to look like that? Why can’t he just be this cute little guy?”

Sonic was only treated as a “cute little guy” in Japan. Plus, even that Sonic had an attitude, so he wasn’t exactly “Mr. Cutesy.” He’s never been about cuteness, but about coolness and attitude. If anything, Sonic’s Modern design just highlights his attitude aspect and tones down the cuteness. It’s not exactly against his character.

I really hope you take Becky’s advice and give Sonic Generations a fair shot. There’s a demo out on PSN, so you could try it and see if you like it. If you don’t, then by all means, give it all the smack talk you can muster. Just please, try and give it a fair shot. I know you had a problem with Sonic 4′s physics, but the team that made this game specifically made sure that this game’s physics are as close to the Genesis games as possible. Plus, the fan reception has been a lot better than Sonic 4′s physics so far, so I think you’ll like these a lot better. Just give it a fair shot and I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised. :)

I really didn’t like the artzy dead island trailer where it looked like a fast paces left4dead knock-off set to violins, but after finding out it’s more of an open world game it jumped to one of the best things I saw all E3. When you said “like fallout” was the moment I fell in love :D

yeah hey Fraser? Bioware Star Wars is the good Star Wars. Lucas is only keeping an eye on this game. also Bioware is developing this game as a more personal story experience with each character you build having their own voice, dialogue, possible love interest and back story to be reveled and built upon during game play, in fact the writers have been working at this game long before the development started. Bioware comments that when they started in 2008 that this game has the most story than all of their previous games combined. ooooooo you just make me want to smack you! also, will there be another E3 show and trailer to cover all the other good stuff? Skyrim, Twisted Metal, Toy Soldiers etc etc.

There’s full gameplay footage out now showing off some of the seriously crazy crap you can do in Saints Row 3. Things like the VTOL (Vertical Take-off & Landing) jet, nut punches, take downs, a truck that sucks people off of the streets and spits them out of a cannon and the Apocofist.

You will laugh your asses off the entire time. I seriously suggest you take a look, you will not be disappointed.

Assassin’s Creed really needs to ditch the modern day setting and just stick to the past. They try to make this story out of both and the modern one just sucks so much ass. If Revelations ending is anywhere near as bad as Brotherhood then I’m not playing that moronic story again.

Revelations will be the final chapter of Desmonds story I believe. So it is going to have the “modern”(which is actually a bit into the future not modern time). I did not play Brotherhood yet and only got part way through AC2. But from what I have read I believe half of the game you play as Desomnd in Revelations. I could be wrong or misreading.

I just didn’t like the futuristic story in brotherhood, won’t spoil it for you though. If you like AC, Brotherhood is the best in the series by far. The ability to organize a brotherhood and an interesting take on multiplayer as well as the best combat in the series as well. Just my opinion though. I never really got all the negativity in the reviews.

Part 1 : Trackmania is oooold IP. On PC. New on Wii, though. Games in series: Trackmania, Trackmania Sunrise, Trackmania Nations (completely free) and Trackmania Unlimited. If you check it out (which is HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended) Trackmania Unlimited is pretty much the best place to start (the first two games had 3 scenarios/types of cars each Nations had 1… Unlimited wraps up these 7 scenarios/car types into the one game). Each game had at least one MAJOR expansion patch many months after release… completely free. Trackmania Unlimited Forever was almost a completely new game. Trackmania Nations Forever is basically a demo, with unlimited control over one type of vehicle (F1 style racer) and everything the TM series offers as a staple (track editing, race/puzzle/platform/survival modes etc etc).
Think of the TM series as a create your own Stunt Car Racer. Any self respecting PC gamer should at least have Nations Forever under their belt.
Trackmania 2 is also coming on PC afaik. TM Sunrise and Unlimited were day one purchases for me. TM2 will be no different.
