the review tech usa SAID using WMV left alot of "artifacts" and was bad quality, and recommended if you had teh space to use avi, but his side by side comparison, while he STATED there were differences, they all looked roughly the same to me, all looked good quality. So I figured same was true with using it. Nope. WMV is what I used to record for the two videos...Tekken 6 (part 1) and MVC3 (part 2)..yeaaack. The quality is kinda crap. Thing is, AVI would take up ALOT more space, so I may just have to live with this level of quality for reviews. See for yourself, Part 1 finally finished uploading. (only took roughly 2 hours to upload to youtube -_-) I'm uploading part 2 now.

There's part 1 of testing my capture card, which is the Roxio Gamecap, as shown in the ReviewtechUSA episode

Also warning: it requires HD component cables (which means I had to buy them seperately afterwards as neither of my PS3's came with one) and despite that, I still can't figure out how to get it to record PS2, so its only recorded PS3 so far.

I may have to upgrade my laptop this summer for 4 GB of ram. I've got exactly 2.5 GHz of processing power so I'm half way there. I really should just invest in a powerful desktop at some point, but alas I am but a poor college student seeking summer employment.

This look like a nice device. I'm interested in capturing footage from my games so maybe I will look into this.
Thanks for the review.

Well, dang. I have a PSP Slim that I want to capture some video from, but my laptop doesn't meet the "2.5 Gigherz 4 Gig RAM" requirements. Any possibility you can install and capture on devices that meet the box minimum, but not the install minimum?

Interesting enough. Thanks for this insightful review!
My girlfriend is actually thinking about capturing Gamecube games. This thing might be just what she needs for that :)
