The general ignorance about many aspects of the franchise was cute at first, but it became grating quickly (especially regarding stuff that was in the original trilogy).

Still, I’m very impressed with the effort and creativity of the builders and Kombatants. :)

One last thing: the purpose behind introducting the “friendship” attacks, and the like, was to take a shot at all those politicians (like Joe “ballsack” Lieberman) who wanted the violence toned down. It was a sarcastic response to something that had no intention of changing.

This was pretty cool, although I do have one suggestion. This is coming from someone who loves the Video Game Awesome vids. Please guys, if you’re going to do something based around a franchise as big as Mortal Kombat, do a little research and learn the characters. It was a tad annoying that you guys didn’t seem to know ANYONE from the MK Universe. Otherwise, pretty cool.

Upon the conclusion, I have to say that was a pretty neat event. Fraser, you should put together a “greatest moments” montage and send it to WB. Who knows, maybe you’ll get some extra promotion?

I enjoy watching the show, but every episode I want to yell at the scream telling you what you’re looking at…(thats one of the guards, that supposed to be Angkor Wat….thats Mokaps, that doesn’t work in Minecraft etc.) Anyway I think the chat rooms seems to be of little assistance. Just saying..i enjoy the show

The winner seems pretty fitting; who has more of a use for a giant diamond penis than a demonic woman wearing fetish clothes?

My only complaint is the lack of spikes for the Pit. I built my own outdoor version of it in my Minecraft world and put a bunch of cacti down below.

Best fatality has got to be the “Oh Yeahality”. Shame I didn’t know about this, it looked like great fun.
Plus major kudos to those who designed the arena, I think I’m going to add a death pit to my house and fit it with zombies now.

No matter what anyone says, this was a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. Also, mega kudos go out to those who thought up the fatalities. They were hilarious. The only thing missing from this live show was the chat enraging Fraser to the point of a nervous breakdown.

Missed the live show for a Canucks game. Thanks to the glory of Blistered Thumbs, I am saved. Also worth noting: you guys really need to say Rory Calhoun more. I’ve used it five times a day all week (my cat has been standing on his hind legs to look at stuff, it’s really perfect).

This was the first Minecraft Awesome livestream I caught, so it’s automatically…well…awesome! Yeah, it had its flaws, but it was a lot of fun. Except for that defective Ford ad that wouldn’t disappear. That just made me angry.

Anyway, I think it’s awesome that you guys actually did this. I hope the Kill Bill re-enactment is still on the list of awesome to be done? (please say yes please say yes)
