LP: Silent Hill, Shattered Memories – Part 13, 10.0 out of 10 based on 1 rating
Harry has finally made it home … but where’s Cheryl?
Note: Part 14 will be up around January 21, as I’ll be at MAGFest next week. I was hoping to have it done for the 14th, but I’m just getting over the flu and at this point I just don’t have time to record and edit it before the trip. So the LP will continue, it’s just taking a week off.
Happy Halloween from everyone’s favorite hell!
The Game Den covers Shattered Memories and beyond.
Shattered Memories finally draws to a close!
Michelle makes one last appearance and Dr. Kaufman talks dirty before Harry goes to the docks.

More adventures in the Toluca Mall (we’re getting somewhere, I promise)
Harry’s wacky cell phone adventures continue. Also, MAGFest.

Music Mondays revisits the band that brought us tunes from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Bit.Trip Runner.
I usually don’t yell at Let’s Plays but I couldn’t help but start yelling at my computer screen in vein when you were going through the Nightmare Level.
Poor Harry all he wants to do is find his daughter, and he keeps getting stalled in every way possible.
I can’t stand John’s voice actor (I think its because I recognize the voice he does in every role i.e. Saints Row 2) it just doesn’t fit the character in my opinion. Thankfully, he is only there in one scene. John is sure a wonderful driver though /sarcasm.
god the scariest part of this whole game has to be when you’re in that giant square room ._.
Great stuff, can’t wait for the next~!
I have greatly enjoyed your play through of silent hill shattered memories, and my cat still thinks your her mother. and ironically her name is Luna. Yes I know it’s strange. The your let’s play is very enjoyable, and I find myself going back and watching past episodes. The reason why is I think that your commentary is more like a commentary you would have if you were sitting next to the person and were friends with them. I notice a lot of people who do commentaries, like Paw and Roses, (not saying theirs are bad at all) use esoteric phrases like “put gem and mouth” and “throw chop.” While these are fun for those people who are in with the joke as I am now after seeing all their LPs. But with you I don’t have to do that, I feel like I am sitting there while a friend of mine is playing a game and I’m listening to them play it. It is a nice way to watch an LP and I commend you for it.
I was wondering if you would share you thoughts anytime on the upcoming sequel: Silent Hill: Downpour. Specifically about the fact that it doesn’t have a weapons screen present, but you pick up weapons in the room, and then they degrade and eventually break. Pretty much like Silent Hill: Origins. Thank god the no weapons screen makes sure that the protagonist, Murphy Pendleton, won’t end up with 20 tvs and an I.V. Stand in his pants. I would still like to know from the person who changed my life from an innocent gamer one to a silent hill mindfuck what you think of the upcoming game.
Glad you like the LP ^.^
I haven’t watched very many others, so I can’t really compare mine to anyone else’s, but I do like to keep them unscripted and I don’t try to force humor into it. I just say what pops into my head. It may mean that the quality isn’t as consistent as if it was scripted, especially since I’m not as quick with the one-liners as some people, but I like to think that it’s entertaining even if not always funny per se.
About Downpour, there really isn’t enough info to go on to really make a judgment about it. Right now, I’m just trying to keep an open mind.
Not sure if I like what you said about the weapons system, but I’ll give it a chance. There was a time when I hated the concept of Shattered Memories, but once I played it, I loved it, so who knows?
Tell the other Luna I said hi ^.^
First, no combat, then weapon degradation. These people must love thin ice.
Interesting side note: The Statue you examine at the end is a reference to Silent Hill: The Arcade Game, a rail shooter. I’m surprised its not been ported to wii as its already in english. The game revolves around the Miranda, iirc, a ship that sank in Taluca Lake in the 1800′s.
More confusion from hell!
You know, on the second descend there were pictures of a car with two people and now that I think about, cars have a big part in the game. Something is afoot.
The psychiatrist went from creepy to slightly sinister.
Take care!
Actually, I believe the images with the car are stills from the scene in the beginning of the game where Harry and Cheryl are in front of the car and he’s about to pick her up. As you’re falling past them, it has a flipbook effect.

Dahlia sounded a lot hotter than she ended up looking. XD
Great LP too bad its nearing its end
Hope u feel better
Thanks, I’m mostly better, just still have a cough. The main issue is that by the time I felt better I just didn’t have time to record another LP before MAGFest (having to do overtime at work doesn’t help either).
Trippiest Nightmare sequence ever O.o
Just when you think you’re out of the room with that video playing over and over, you’re falling through hell and have to listen to it again. My response: “Oh god, I’m in hell!!”
i’m not sure, but I think Cheryl loves her daddy.
Let’s not jump to conclusions.
Interesting game. My main comment, however, is that I’m surprised that ads are allowed on this video. I was unaware that Let’s Plays are covered under Fair Use policy.
See, I never had a problem reading items with the PSP version of the game.
Never has the words I love you daddy sounded so creepy
Indeed XD
Thanks for the let’s play. And, since this has never happened to me before…FIRST!
I apologise to everyone that reads this.
