Hey, 3D (or not) Lee! This is the first video by you I’ve seen. I look forward to your MegaMan-tastic redemption.
Man, sometimes I hate the market. Thank goodness my friend still has his copy of MegaMan 64 (MegaMan Legends by another name), but it sounds like the sequel is the hardest to get now anyway…
…grrr.
Dude Lee idk if you heard or not but Megaman Legends is coming back capcom is making Megaman Legends 3DS.
Wow, I had no idea I was sitting on a gold mine, not that I would sell any of them. I love each of the three games for different reasons. MM1 for its massive dungeon crawling, MM2 for it’s humongous boss battles and a bit more involved story, and Misadventures Of Tron Bonne is probably my favorite because I love variety games. Also, Tron is adorable. Maybe you could have a short retrospective of her character from the first game in the new review, since you kind of left her out of the first one.
I know a lot of people prefer MML 2 to this one, but I really can’t say that I do. The way the different areas are broken up just makes the sequel feel fragmented and I really like the contiguity of the first game; it adds a certain spice to the exploration factor.
I never really had any problems with the controls, actually, and the graphics in this game are actually pretty good for a PS1 game.
I’m really hoping for a current-gen remake of these games, since MML 3 is being made.
Feel better, Lee (and Dena) I’m looking forward to your new series.
–OW
I given up on remembering when you have said you will have something new out but I also think its great that one time once in a blue moon you actually hammer out a video. Commentary, lets plays its all good.
Whatever made everyone sick at Magfest must’ve made its way to the west coast. I think about half of my coworkers were out sick on Friday, and now I’m starting to get it. *cough cough*
Welcome back Lee! Hope your still reppin’ the 901! (M-town born and raised! ’79-’98). Those are some crazy ebay prices!, but it is Mega Man so no real surprise I guess. Lookin’ forward to season 4!
I’m not originally from “the 901″, but I still support the local sports teams, specifically the Mempshi Redbirds and Mississippi Riverkings. i’ll go to a Grizzlies game when they fire Lionel Hollins and trade Mike Conley, though Zach Randolph proved to me last night that he’s the best pro basketball player in Memphis history.
Soon I’ll be moving to the 916. (Sacramento)
I wish you’d put the “world exploding” gag back in. I never got tired of that, and I was disappointed when it left…
I don’t suppose you’re also participating in the Legends 3 project? Or if you will do a review on that as well.
Megaman Legends 2 was a better game… but… I think Megaman is best in 2D. I think that’s where the blue bomber belongs!
I’ll tell you what I do like is that Megaman Legends 2 uses Vivaldi’s four seasons in this one place in the game.
I agree. Mega Man has always been best in 2-D. I remember playing the first MM Legends. Even at the time it was released, the controls were very stiff and archaic. It’s certainly an interesting title, and by no means the worst, but feel it’s one of the weaker installments in the Mega Man franchise.
I did love the art though. Had an issue of tips and tricks with MM Legends art on the front cover and was enthralled.

Hey Lee, are you still planing on reviewing that weird…sex…robot…rpg that you made a teaser about? I’m STILL curious about that xD
Anyway, hope you get better and i’m very exited for season 4.
Your back? For realz this time? no jokes?
Great to hear from you, Lee! I can’t tell you how excited I am for Season 4 of Still Gaming. Btw, I want to know… Who won that haiku contest you held back when you did the Lee & Z show? (Please say it was me. I really wanted that copy of Snow Snow for Lucy. My email was boxingglovejoe4tko@charter.net. I was that guy who was impersonating Glass Joe.
)
Truth is I always preferred this one to Legends 2. The fact that all the dungeons were all interconnect plays a HUGE part in that. Also, I liked the length of the dungeons here. In Legends 2, sometimes they felt TOO long (Nino Ruins, I’m looking straight at you and your slowdown-fest).
Anywho, nice recap of sorts, and I hope to see the revisit of this absolute overlooked gem of a game soon.
WHY OH WHY did you sell Tron Bonne! If you ever get it again you should review it, cant wait for Series 4
, Linkara was really Meca-Kara, that’s why he didn’t get sick :O,hope all of you get better
.
Con flu? More like “Con flu ence”, amirite?
Oh man, Windows Movie Maker frustrations. Boy do I remember that with my Bucky O’Hare NES review. I’ll bet it crashed/froze on me 15 times during rendering. The most frustrating things was, I didn’t know what triggered it, so I’d have to re-edit it randomly. So yeah, I definitely know how you felt.
Ok, now I”ll piss you off. I got a copy of Tron Bonne when EB Games was going out of business…for $2.99.
Now I’ll piss you off even more: I haven’t played it more then 20 minutes. I hated it.
another Mega Man with a 2…Is it Mega man 2?
Loved the commentary, Lee. Hope that you, Dena, and the others feel better soon.
Agree Lee. As awkward as this game is, I still love it. Oddly enough, I still play it on occasion (yes, the disc still works!).

And regarding the “E” rating… remember the era of gaming you’re discussing. A time when the ratings board staff most likely just looked at the cover and stamped a rating. PSX is full of games with VERY adult subject matter that all still received E ratings.
Yeah ConCrud is cruel. I am also looking forward to series 4, It gives me glimpses of games that i missed when they first came out but now might have a chance at playing.
LEE!!!! cant wait for series 4 love your work
man this is an old vid but ive always rememberd the whole kicking the dog moment lol
