Was that “Pierce” Solar you said? I couldn’t quite make it out. I’d never heard of it and like to see what that’s about.

I guess I have to wait another decade or so before new games start coming out for the N64. Sigh.

Regardless, great list! The song for Insanity (#5) was AWESOME!!

I won’t be getting any of these, but it’s nice to see game designers doing something so unconventional and great.

Now, I know the Commodore 64 didn’t really take off as a gaming system in the US, but it’s remiss of you to completely ignore Psytronik Software, who are releasing Brand new Games for Europe’s favourite 8-bit Systems, like the C64, Amstrad CPC, Sinclair ZX Spectrum etc.

You can check them out at psytronik.net.

Wow, great video. I hadn’t heard of most of these games before. This makes me curious as to what else people are making for old consoles. How does one go about doing that?

    zoinks! what a powerful list!

Thanks for including the links below the video. A fine luxury to not have to pause the video, type down the site, resume video, continue watching.

wonder if its too late to ask the fat man in the red suit to toss a few of these games my way.

Zaku looked absolutely amazing! It’s both awesome and a shame it’s on the Atari Lynx. Awesome because nobody pretty much owns the Atari Lynx and… a shame because nobody pretty much owns the Atari Lynx.

If I remember correctly, Battle Kid uses the I Wanna Be the Guy platform engine, just updated so it isn’t so glitchy. Looks hard but fun.

It only had the first level and it is pretty hard to beat.

Go easy on Sonic 4 JW, at least it wasn’t as bad as the 2006 game or those stupid fairy tale Wii games.

You mustn’t lump Sonic and the Secret Rings in with…*shudder*…that other THING.

Secret Rings was actually a great and underrated game. It just had the misfortune of coming out in the same swathe as 2006, Unleashed, and…oh god I don’t even want to say its name Black Knight arrrrgh.

Seriously, “Sonic and the Secret Rings” was actually good.

While looking up Wukong, I also found a fighting game by them based off of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Guess I’ll be loading up my old Windows 95 to play it.
Thanks Jdub. Too bad I didn’t discover these sooner, cause these would have made great christmas gifts.

NOOOO! I’m two seconds into the video and I have to say with both egotism and aggression that no self respecting genuine gamer would wear that shirt!

You kill ganon with the silver arrow not a sword. OMG! I’m hyperventilating with nerd rage.

Okay, need to watch rest of video now.

    And get laid.
