I swear, if I had this game, everytime I went to punch something, I’d shout: ”I AM A MAN”!
You hit the Giant Enemy Crab’s weakpoint foe MASSIVE DAMAGE!!!!!!!!!
They used to have this at the arcade I visited all the time. Guys used to show off how manly they were by trying to knock the asteroid out of the sky. I watched one guy walk back as far as the bungee cord could on the boxing glove and run at the machine with a full head of steam and SLAMMED the game. He hit it so hard it almost got knocked over, and even though he did that he couldn’t beat the stage.
I heard the game got pulled from arcades because idiots wouldn’t wear the gloves and tried to sue the arcades for injuries. Hell, before they got rid of it at the one arcade I saw it at they had this stupid thing taped onto the machine that said…
“WARNING! PUNCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!”
Damn thing was broken beyond repair. But still fun as hell to watch people play it.
It’s like somebody was dumb enough to give Peter Griffin super-powers.

I didn’t think you would cover something I’ve heard of before. Sonic Blast Man looks much better than that boxing game I tried at a restaurant/arcade place. The machine was basically Wii Sports Boxing with boxing gloves. I was sore the next day.

haha i didnt know this was on arcade. i remember the snes version. it was pretty fun. ahh good times.
