Most new sites take weeks or months to fill up with content. DAY ONE and you guys had more features etc. than I could get through, BRAVO! Just the kind of performance I’ve come to expect from the TGWTG team.

I love the new site – with one caveat. You REALLY need a better forum software. This WordPress plugin that you’re using is too simple and cumbersome. If you want to develop a thriving community here, I’d strongly recommend a better forum software such as PHPBB3 or SMF. They aren’t hard to get setup and they are infinitely customizable. I just know that it’s really hard to build a community when the community can’t navigate other member’s posts easily.
One thing I have noticed is you can’t really view you’re comments and if anyone has responded to you as well. If there is a way already then just ignore this.

Channel Awesome has yet to steer me wrong in the year I’ve paid attention to all their content providers (Doug, Spoony, Brad, Joe, Todd, etc.). I’m looking forward to a great site and hope to one day have enough time in my 9-5 middle management rat race to become a contributor along side the rest of the Channel Awesome team. Congrats on the growing “Channel Awesome” Brand and I expect great things.
Looks great. However I’m really hoping you guys actually do some PS3 reviews. I was always really dissapointed to find that my favorite FPS (killzone) and my favorite company (insomniac) had like nothing on here. 90% of you guys are only focused on the Xbox, and mainstream games. I’m hoping that changes, and you guys review the entire console that’s being left out. The best I saw were some videos on heavy rain…. which isn’t even a real video game as much as a complex interactive story.
Like I said, I love the look of this site. But please, be a bit more friendly to those past the Xbox and multiplatform. I love how RAD has a goldeneye review. Keep that thing up. Do more for nintendo and sony.
Fear not good sir, your friendly neighbourhood Brit is on the case. I review games as they are sent to me. I tend not to request a specified console to receive these copies on, therefore they tend to balance out over the course of the year. Exclusives obviously will be covered to their full extent regardless of the console.
No one here at Blistered Thumbs is bias towards one console or another. Sure we may make fun of the waggle-tastic Wii, ‘ol dependable 360 and the monolithic promise box of lies that is the PS3, but it is all in jest. This is a website for gamers and gamers play all the games on the market, not just the ones they wish to base their opinion on.

Yeah, I know you guys aren’t biased. I just noticed everyone seemed to have an Xbox, and I never saw much else (Unless you count the PC. So I was just worried, that’s all. Ironically the Xbox is the only console I dont own (I have no problem with it, I just can’t afford all 3 systems) so I just felt left out. That’s all. I still watched and enjoyed the reivews. Even the exclusives like halo reach just because I like to stay updated.
Give it time, the website is literally days old.
