Hot off the web-presses comes Star Wars: The Old Republic’s latest public update. An interactive Beastiary and Character Profiler, the new “Inhabitants” area of the Star Wars: The Old Republic site is rather well done, though perhaps a bit fiddly for the first time browser in the SWTOR “Holocron” browsing system. Veterans of following along Bioware’s Holocron system will spot the intricacies of the new site without much issue, but for those who haven’t, the gist is simple… but you’re going to have to click onward to get a good look, now aren’t you?
With a total of 14 new Monsters, Character Races and Droids written up and given attached screen shots and gameplay snaps, the new Holocron Site Expansion fits in perfectly with the other pages already done with the expert touch and flare we have come to expect from Bioware and it’s associates. Personal favorites for myself include the Sith Pureblood (my race of choice of course), the Terentatek (pictured below) and of course, the AR-34 Enforcer Droid (also pictured below). But then again, I’ve always had a thing for the Hutt Empire…
The great part about this new holocron expansion is the depth in each model. Animations are shown which lends a feeling of personality and attitude to each character, even the droids which has always been a strong point of the Star Wars series. From Sith Pure Bloods to Imperial Atro Droids, this fresh new look into Bioware’s epic MMO is a welcome sight to behold. Now, of course… we’re all still waiting for our Beta Invites, shameless self-plug for a beta key not withstanding. Regardless of it all however, you all really should go check out the full “Inhabitants” Holocron, and everything else Bioware has made available for this hotly anticipated title. You really could lose a few hours just staring at all the delicious treats they have in store for you.
An eccentric millionaire bent on world domination, or at least trying to find happiness and ponder the existentialism-… oh who are we kidding he's just an evil eccentric who wants to take over the world while having an amazing time playing whatever games strike his fancy. Known amongst the Blizzard community as "The Dreadmist Man".

MMO Grinder Sidequest is a quick look at MMOs I wouldn’t normally review, be it through limited trial accounts, or Closed Beta games. First up, it’s the oft requested Star Wars The Old Republic.
And the weekend begins Thursday now too!

This games looking more and more awesome, can’t wait for it! Huge love for Bioware and the KotOR franchise itself. this game can definitely be awesome, its no WoW killer but MMO’s need to stop aiming to topple WoW and simply be accessible and enjoyable to the market there aiming for, in this games case, Star Wars and Bioware fans as well as MM enthusiasts, knowing Bioware, this game will hopefully be very polished and stable on release
