The Star Trek MMO which is currently in beta right now has posted on their site that they will be having a lifetime subscription option. This option will cost $239.99 and is only available to people who have pre-ordered the game. These people that have gotten the lifetime subscription will also be able to play as a special character who has been liberated from the Borg (info below), and you will also have two additional character slots. If you prefer to only buy the game by a yearly subscription it will cost you $119.99 with the pre-order of the game and you will get the two additional character slots. Sorry no Liberated Borg if you don’t get the lifetime.

I hope kotor online will have a lifetime subscription.
That lifetime subscription thing isn’t a bad idea. I mean, let’s say you buy it, play it for a year, then stop playing it for a while, then come back to it. You won’t ever have to unsubscripe, nor incur monthly payments, yet you could go back to it anytime you wanted to. If more MMOs had that, I might actually do that. But it shouldn’t just be for pre-orders
